Reservation was confirmed but when we got to the restaurant, we were told they were unable to serve. This is crazy.

Got a last minute reservation, was 10 minutes late, but still accommodated quickly with no issues. It was busy when we came, but the service was still very prompt.

We came for a light dinner and got the cold noodles and a bossam plate. The cold noodles, EXCEPTIONAL. We are all cold noodle fanatics and a lot of restaurants in k-town are hit or miss with cold noodles specifically. Bossam plate was also very delicious, though I do agree with some of the reviews that it is a bit overpriced for the portion size.

Very glad I came across this restaurant when I input ‘best cold noodles NYC.’ Will definitely be back!

I got the tofu bibimbap without egg. There was not enough tofu and the waiter said I could not get extra. I do not think I was given enough sauce. Things were not flavorful I would not recommend the bibimbap.

I enjoyed the food. Seoullangtang is fantastic, and so is the barley tea.
Service is ok, but a couple of points though -
1. Please allow your guests to eat in peace. One waiter kept asking me repeatedly if I needed the food packed. And I didn't even take much time to eat, it was barely 45 minutes for lunch. Other people dined longer than me. If I need help, I would ask for it. Coming from Germany, this behaviour was very weird.
2. I ALWAYS tip at restaurants for good service. Since my experience was soured by this, I decided not to tip. At checkout, I was asked to tip. Tips are voluntary, not mandatory; it's not a fee. Please don't ask for tips. I did end up tipping 10% though. Customers will tip you generously, if you give them a good service.

I’ve only been to Olle once and it exceeded my expectations! The food was delicious and they were very generous with the side dishes. The soup was good, it made me feel homey. The whole atmosphere was a vibe! Would definitely return on a colder day because the experience was just overall cozy.

vibey place for great late night food! the galbi + naengmyeon combo was exceptionally good, meat was so tender and seasoned so well!! the naengmyeon then became very refreshing, we got the normal naengmyeon.

olle bibimbab was really good too, it came with a bowl of hearty soup that was warm and yummy!

super packed even when we arrived at 9pm but staffs were very speedy, only thing is that the galbi portion was quite small given the price (but i guess it tasted very very good so it’s alright)

would love to come back to try their lunch menu!

I love coming to Olle! The good is always so good. Sometimes the banchan changes and I do wish they offered as many as they used to. Other than that, every dish has such authentic flavorful taste and both my Korean and nonKorean friends love it here

I had high expectations for Olle but left a little disappointed. We ordered the Olle bibimbpap with beef short ribs and kimchi jungol. Although the stew was very flavorful, rich and spicy, there was a lack of strong kimchi tang to cut through the fatty broth. The sides also were a little lack luster except for the scallion pancake, which was crispy and delicious. The bibimbpap also fell a little flat for me as it tasted under-seasoned. I think the real disappointment was the unpleasant odor that lingered throughout the lower floor of the restaurant which I suspect came from the bathrooms on that floor. It was strong enough for me to feel off-put by my meal and not exactly look forward to it. I would go here again in hopes of having a better experience and trying a different dish that may be better (since their menu does have a decent wide selection).
