Om is a delightful neighborhood gem. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is consistently delicious. And in a city where so many places are noisy, the peaceful vibe is a lovely change.

Ordered takeout so I cant comment on the service or atmosphere. But the food is garbage.

This is easily the worst indian food I've ever had. Theres better indian in rural VA.

I try to avoid negative reviews but when it's this bad I want people to save their money. Instant Ramen would've been a more satisfying meal.

The chicken curry was bland and watery with only a few chunks of chicken

The chicken marsala was essentially tomato soup with chicken in it. Naan bread was cold.

Very subpar experience

There is much better Indian food for less money around. Naan was oily, chicken was slightly under-seasoned and small, sauce was too tomatoey and liquid. Preposterous especially considering it’s not cheap. Asked for the lunch special and was told we could not split one — so we got the big portions and they weren’t bigger.

Came to OM on Valentine’s Day without a reservation with my bf and was able to sit at the bar. Service was great and friendly! The food was super yummy… and strong drinks. I’m a big fan of Lamb Korma and OMs is up there with being one of my favorites! We will deff be back 😊

OM is a cozy Indian restaurant on the Upper East Side. Though the space isn’t large, it’s clean and inviting. The tables are relatively close together, but not to the point of feeling cramped.

The food here is excellent. I’ll leave it to locals to judge its authenticity, but every dish was flavorful and made with wholesome ingredients. The samosas were perfectly fried, with a crisp exterior and a potato-and-bean filling infused with a blend of spices. I couldn’t pinpoint each one, but they harmonized beautifully.

The Chicken Korma was a standout, generously packed with nuts, pineapple, and raisins, all soaked in a rich almond cream sauce. I loved drenching my rice in the sauce—it made every bite a joy. The garlic naan was another highlight, with a fluffy yet chewy texture, balanced by a light touch of garlic and butter.

The only downside was the speed of service. The first dish took over 10 minutes to arrive—not terribly slow, but it could have been faster.

Overall, the friendly staff, delicious food, and warm ambiance make me want to come back and explore more of the menu.

Probably some of the worst Indian food I have had in NY. I had ordered the Butter Chicken and Paneer Tikka Masala. And both of these dishes were just soooo sweet and bland. It was as if they had forgotten to add any spices to the dishes at all. The only good thing in the order was the rice which seemed fresh.
Would not recommend this place.

I am not one to write many reviews, but this restaurant pleasantly surprised me. The food is delicious and very fresh, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is kind and attentive. After moving to NYC, I was just looking for food that would remind me of home and their yellow daal absolutely hit the spot and I will definitely be going back again. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who just want a warm and tasty meal.

The prices were good, but there were some flies bothering us, and the food was ok, nothing to write home about. Also one of the servers smelled of BO.

The food and drinks here are excellent and the prices are more reasonable than almost anywhere else. I have never eaten anything here that wasn't good.

Food is very good. Tends not to be crowded when we go on early end, which makes us think the quality of the food may not be widely discovered. We've been to about 5 Indian restaurants on the upper east side and none is better and only one possibly is as good, but the service is better at Om. I drink a lot of water and my glass never got near empty!
