Really yummy sushi spot, excellent service, and friendly chefs. Chef Andy and Kong helped me out. Chef Kong's knife skills are amazing. The yellowtail and King salmon with fois gras were my favorites. It is an absolute steal for NYC. One thing that always trips me out with the omakase places in NYC is that people eat sushi with their hands. Apparently it's a thing at nicer sushi places ... Though I've been to plenty more expensive places in LA and OC (and visited Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka) ... where I haven't seen this practice. Maybe it's the places I've been or ... Maybe New Yorkers are more with it and cooler than us uncultured Californians. Would totally recommend for cultured and uncultured alike ... Excellent omakase!

I'm not sure so I don't want to hurt them but 5 minutes after I left the restaurant I feel really bad with severe diarrhea for the last 2 days . Because all the fishes were already cut and I didn't read the reviews it might be that they're not as fresh as they should be. I wonder if anyone else it was in the evening yesterday was suffering the same way I am .
The two stars are because I'm not 100% sure but also the sushi wasn't that amazing.

It was my first time with omakase course and I loved every piece the chef gave me. They were super delicious! The chef was friendly and kind. I highly recommend this place and I'm Japanese! Will come back definetely!

Honestly overpriced and quality was not that great. I could spend less in other restaurants for better quality. Rice was hard, uni was fishy and barely any truffle. Would not recommend. Place is so small.

I’m a little shocked this place has such a high rating. The fish is all pre-sliced, and the chefs did not seem like trained sushi chefs - more like line cooks assembling the sushi. I watched my chef score a piece of fish and accidentally sliced off about 25% of the piece because he scored too deeply, then he served it like that so someone got a partial piece of fish instead of a whole piece. They also rush you because the seatings are so close together, and I had to wait to sit because the people in the seating before us stayed longer. The sushi is.. fine, but for this level of quality I think it makes more sense to just get sushi $40-50 rather than $90 omakase.

I told a friend I was looking for a great omakase spot in the city that would fit into my plans to catch a Broadway show. They recommended this location, and I have to say—it was amazing. We had 5 PM reservations, which worked perfectly with our 7 PM show, as the entire meal takes about an hour, or slightly longer if you order extras. The restaurant is small but very intimate. Everything we ate was incredibly fresh, and the space was impeccably clean. I can’t wait to return!

The only thing stopping me from giving this place 5 stars is the strict 1 hour policy which I somehow missed and the loud pop music playing. Everything else was excellent from the cozy setting, to the friendly chefs, the presentation and quality of the sushi all the way down to the sake special.

Came for proximity to Broadway and they ended up letting us linger at the corner table and brought over an extra shot of sake which was very nice of them. Also accommodated my wheelchair as best as possible for the small space. Pricey but worth it for the quality.

Wheelchair accessibility: Super cramped but accommodated my wheelchair. Also the tables are bar height which worked but not ideal.

Like the music in the place. Some fish has a fishy taste. Too much money for the regular sushi.
