One of the best Omakase experience you can have. The staff were extremely attentive and the chef was amazing. Food was amazing.
Extraordinary sushi, consummate host and team. I cannot recommend mitsu and his team more for the ultimate omakase experience.

Disappointing omakase experience. While the fish quality was excellent, the treatment of it was not.
Not a single standout dish to report. The toro in the hand roll appetizer was ice cold, which masked the flavor of the fish. Several of the nigiri pieces were over salted, and the rice tasted off throughout.
The service was kind and attentive. However, all 12 courses were prepared and served by the same chef for the entire bar, which made this tasting menu extremely slow.
I had high hopes for this place based on its glowing reviews, but I cannot recommend. Many omakase options in the city with better food and a much lower price tag.

Experienced master chef. Excellent choice of different kinds of fish expertly prepared in front of us. All staff very.close by after every dish to fill any needs or answer questions. Great variety of sake. Politely thanking us for coming. Expensive but worth the price for an authentic Omakase experience. Will definitely return here.
Best Omakase in NYC, the chef knows what he does, he proposes very fresh and quality fishes, taste combinations are god level, and the execution is awesome.
The service is perfect, there are very aware of what’s happening and help us in the best way possible. If I come back to NYC I’ll do it again for sure 🔥

I split my time between New York and Japan, and this omakase experience was very authentic. You can feel Chef Mitsunori’s passion for his craft; he said it’s his dream to be a sushi chef in New York, and you can bet he’s done it! The 40-day aged tuna cheek was my favorite.
