If you like Japanese food this it a must try. Small bright location and the sashimi amazing. I’m using it as a business lunch spot because the food is excellent and it’s close to Union Square.
I was excited to try a new omakase place in the area and I had a friend in town who also enjoys omakase, however the experience was just mediocre. I really enjoy small plates as part of the omakase experience but some of the flavor combinations missed the mark for me. The fish itself was good and fresh so I think next time I would just go a la cart and order the sushi platters.
Went here on a whim since the usual sushi spot had a long wait. Ordered the standard omakase and was very impressed. Rice was seasoned perfectly and all the ingredients tasted fresh. Offerings were varied as was the presentation. Based on what was served I would consider It a classic/traditional assortment of sushi. Price was more than reasonable and the service was excellent. Will definitely consider replacing the usual spot with this.
