If there's something less than 1 stars i will put it. Very, very bad customer service . The guy who prepared the food for me he was like giving me a charity.. The cashier didn't say any thank you or have a good day speechless the owner should work more on the behaviors there....

It's one of the best halal spots in New york, and the best meal I ever had in new york. The food and ingredient quality is great. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are super friendly. I ordered their signature dish, and it was the best mix of samples from their menu. They also offered me a complimentary baqlawa, which was great.

Been wanting to go to this Mediterranean shop for a while and punching myself for not going sooner. The falafels they had are PHENOMENAL. Perfect crispy crunch on the outside with a soft inside. The hummus and eggplant sides paired well, and the pita bread was soft and fluffy on the inside rather than the usual thin/flatbread style. Constructing a falafel sandwich with the hummus and salad sides creates an amazing combination. Highly recommend Omar’s!

We ordered takeout and even the next day this was exceptional. The eggplant is just wonderful and sweet and fragrant. The chicken flavoring was delicious and it wasn’t overly fatty like other shawarma often is. The pita was fluffy and so delightful. BUT the real hero was the baklava- it was the baklava that so many others are not. Not syrupy, fake tasting, or too nutty or dense. Very light flaky and buttery. Really A+ to this pastry chef. Excellent all around!

Plenty of seating available with a restroom for customers. Surprisingly, it was empty during lunch hours when I visited, which was odd since there were always some people on my previous visits. The prices are high for dining in, and the portion sizes are small. However, their falafel is very tasty & one of the bestest in the city. Since takeout is cheaper, it may be better option to justify the price-to-portion ratio, in my opinion.
This place has been here for as long as i can remember. Food her, never disappoints. Mediterranean food served fast (I can't call it fast food). Staff here is very friendly, fast, and efficient. Food is delicious, and every order is served and packed with a complementary treat ! (Bite-size piece of Baklava). I don't go during lunch time, they're is usually a line out the door, which moves quickly. There is also room to eat-in in the back. Definitely recommend.
