Serves its purpose. When the craving hits, this will do.

Not destination. Unless it needs to be.

We were there today with some friends, we were looking for a coffee shop and we saw that although the place was small, there were 3 stools where we could sit down. In my case I ordered a cappuccino and a cinnamon roll (I've had much, much better ones). The staff were frankly rude, with the excuse that the place was small they made us uncomfortable until they got us to leave. I think this is no way to treat customers who consume their products.

We bought a delightful oreo chocolate strawberry cake and we were very pleased with the freshness and taste.

The service was great and friendly. All workers very kind, they helped us pick out the cake and prepared us some fantastic coffee which our whole family enjoyed. The Latte was very great.

Don’t walk, RUN! Omonia is our neighborhood favorite. The seasonal pumpkin muffin is to die for. The orange pie is absolutely delicious, and you can’t go wrong with anything at this Greek establishment. The workers offer excellent recommendations and greet you with so much warmth. Love it here ?

I had great cheesecake and Galactoboureko for breakfast, there is nothing more pleasant than this on a rainy Sunday! Truly appreciate this delicacy from this local patisserie??

Small patisserie, high prices (but not uncommon in NYC). Hardly any seating, so mainly take away. Coffee was good. Oatmilk and Almondmilk on offer.

My go to place to get Orange pie and the kourabiedes (almond cookies).
I had these in Greece and I am so glad to find these in UWS
They also have other Greek bakery items like the bougatsa and spanakopita
Big portions and Fairly priced

I have been to this lovely cafe three times. The first time just for coffee and a visit with a friend. Second time I went to really look at the lovely cookies and pasteries; the young lady behind the counter was wonderful and helpful!! Not only did I try these cookies pictured (walnut cookie w/jam and chocolate dipped butter cookie) she introduced me to a delicacy called "Orange Pie."! Life changing! Yesterday was my third visit! This cafe is definetly worth the price and any new business might take a moment to get a foot-hold. Omonia Cafe NYC has moved to the top of my list!! Can't wait for my next tea party! Welcome to the neighborhood!
