I haven’t been able to dine in yet, but I decided to give them a shot via delivery. They did not disappoint. Quick delivery. I ordered the chicken drunken noodles and the chive dumplings. Both were really tasty. I must say the chicken drunken noodles portions were surprisingly great. It was a lot of food for $15, which I’m happy about. The chive dumplings Comes with a sweet soy sauce and it paired really nicely. They gained a new customer today, and I can’t wait to dine in one day.

I posted a very positive review a few weeks ago. Since then Opai Thai has refused to answer their telephone and only accepts orders online and gets half of those orders wrong. I recieved way too spicy food ,sauce less fried calamari instead of calamari fritters in the tasting platter basically no dipping sauces EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!! Unless they answer the phone I don’t imagine I’ll ever order from them again.

Delicious food, great staff, very kind people. But you gave me incorrect food. I ordered Thai Basil pork belly. I was give a ABIG BOWL OF PEPPERS A HARD PIECES OF PORK. The ratio was not well. It here was no green beans or basil and hardly any pork.

Vegetarian options: Some dishes are made with Tofu

I'm sorry...I know everyone tries very hard. But I just wouldn't order from this place ever again. (I ordered delivery so I don't know about the service or atmosphere.) We ordered pad see ew, tamarind duck, and green papaya salad. It was the most bland thai food I have ever had. Pad see ew was bland and had weird combination of vegetables (like zucchini and carrot) that you would not normally find in this dish. The duck was ok but gamey, and came with watery bland vegetables. The salad was so sad...if you've ever had good green papaya salad, you know they don't cut the papaya (or was it even? tasted more like daikon radish) so thick.I'm sure people who work at this place work very hard. But sorry...I would not order again.

I’m a loyal customer for years. Food, service and atmosphere were always nice. Last night I ordered a duck salad and got a deep fried duck fat with inedible sauce instead. I hope it was an accident, cause it never happened before.

I ordered pick up online from their own website, which should have been my first clue. The site has 2 pages: "Home" and "Order Online". I was at work, hungry, pressed for time and 2 blocks away, so I repressed my instincts and ordered. Then I couldn't find the place! (Just wait...) I ordered the crispy duck salad. Wow. 20 years eating in NYC and this is the first time I threw away my meal. The 'salad' part was a thin layer of wet, wilted greens stuck to the bottom of the container. The apple chunks were brown. The cashews were SOGGY. The onion slices were soft and visibly dry. And the, I guess it was supposed to be, duck? Flavorless mystery meat thickly coated with equally flavorless BATTER (!) and also soggy! Turns out, this is a ghost kitchen inside Dark Bullet bar! I walked in and out of an empty bar with no lights and no people (patrons or staff) to be seen, TWICE, before venturing in again in hopes that I could call out for someone who might be able to tell me where Opai Thai was! One star for the friendly staff member who came out of the kitchen and told me I was (unfortunately) in the right place. Never again.

Authentic Thai Cooking! Great food and extra large portions. I ordered from Uber eats, all the way from the East side, it was well worth it.I was impress from the portion size, food arrive in super deep dish container, enough for 2 people.Quality food, in texture, and taste. As someone that visit Thailand very often, I can say this is just like original thai food, not “americanized” that is popular for the wrong reasons. Will order again for sure!
