Honestly this place is awesome, especially the fact that it’s 24 hrs, it’s very convenient. Especially for night owls like me lol. The service is really good and they welcome you and are always attentive to the customers. This place holds a very important memory to me and I want to thank the staff. Thank you! Besides that the food is delicious recommend to try it!

I came into the restaurant after my night class to have breakfast for dinner (omelette, turkey bacon, & home fries) & it hit the spot! The waiter was very kind & it didn't take long at all to get my food. Will definitely be returning here!

1- Food 5/5. Always very happy with the quality and preparation of the dishes we have tried.2- Service 5/5. From the moment you enter this restaurant you are greeted warmly from a friendly hostess. Waitresses and waiters are friendly and accommodating. The owner of this restaurant who is always present definitely knows his stuff when it comes to running a diner.3- Atmosphere 5/5. Very Greek like New York City diner feel. Exactly what you would expect a diner to look and feel like in manhattan.4- Reservations 5/5. None taken. Nice size diner so they are usually very accommodating and they are open for service 24/7 ,,,365 days a year.5- Value 4/5. I have been eating and ordering from this place for 35 years, I Would definitely recommend and return.

Food is incredible and service is friendly, prompt, and swift. It's tight, but they manage the flow of traffic well. Ate here for the first time when my daughter came to visit me from Seattle. It's now in my heart.

New York is NOT cheap. Sure you can eat McDonalds the whole time you visit, but diners are a good choice too. Is this place gourmet? No. But the food is good, fast, and cheap. We each got massive burgers and split a plate of fries, and got drinks, all for $42. Great deal, good meal, excellent service. One star off because they rounded up $1.50 on the bill.

The service was quick the burger was good not great but still ok with the fries. Nice atmosphere, I could relax for a bit after I was done eating to let the food come down.

So where do I start? Went to this diner for lunch being right next to my job. Was seated and my order was taken. 1st and foremost the waiter wrote nothing down and that was the first indication of how it was going to go. Ordered 2 bacon cheese burgers with fries and milk shakes. Burgers came out with no bacon. Told the waiter and he came back with a plate with 6 strips of bacon. (Undercooked) second the burger tasted like a frozen patties. He saw the disgust in my face. Told him how bad it was and he said " notice" and came back with the check of $55.00 for some bull sjht food . So disappointed. Now I know why I've passed this spot for the last 16 years. They need to give it up.

Don't most diners have a side of mac & cheese on their menus? And at a low price? Apparently not at Orion. Two weeks age after the first follow up at the dentist I was famished and decided to stop here to have the softest food imaginable. It was not featured on the menu and the server asked the kitchen who gave it to me. I let it cool down so I could eat it. The flavor was okay but not as tasty as I had hoped. The shock came when I saw the bill $16.35. I nearly fainted and complained. I won't be going there again.?

We'd had an excellent dinner at a restaurant downtown and about 3/4 way home, we decided to stop for a little dessert. We agreed to go into the first diner we found, and we found the Orion! When you want an old-school kinda dessert, and you grew up in the NY-NJ area, a diner is a great place for that! We have our favorites - he, apple crumb cake; for me, lemon meringue pie. And it's been an age since we last did this. Happy to report that cravings were satisfied! He said his apple crumb cake was perfect. It certainly was a huge piece. I didn't think, at first glance, that the lemon meringue pie would be good; when I see an extra high layer of meringue, I expect that it'll be cloyingly sweet, but it wasn't. It was airy and lighter than it looked, sweet but not more than it needed to be, a perfect foil for the lemon (though for me that lemon layer could've been a bit tarter). We had a decaf coffee and a decaf tea - perfectly satisfying dessert. Prices are high everywhere these days but nearly $8. for each slice I thought was a bit much; possibly I'm just out of touch. At any rate, it hit the spot for us!
