Just left this restaurant with a group of friends and had a great experience except for one particular staff member at the coat check which completely changed our memory of the night. We loved our dinner and the wait staff was outstanding but upon leaving I went to retrieve my coat from the coat check. I apologized for not having any cash on hand (as a tip) and the coat check man’s response was “well…didn’t you know that you didn’t have cash before you checked your coat?”...

We had just the most wonderful time! The restaurant is cozy and intimate, with a very pleasant, romantic decor. The coat check was very helpful with our winter wear, and the host was fantastic. We arrived a bit early for our reservation but were able to be sat right away, even with the pre-theater crowd, which was bustling!

My wife had planned out our dining for my 40th birthday celebration, and this place was just perfect. We are total foodies from Chicago....

Food and service were excellent. It's a little pricey but they clearly use high quality ingredients, and the portions were generous. Could easily share appetizers and salads. Leave 1 hour+ for pre-theater dinner. Service wasn't slow but they do not rush (and you want time to enjoy your dinner).
