I had the liver, Venice style ($32), it was absolutely delicious. It came with crispy onions and pine nuts (pictured below). On another visit I had the salmon. It was moist and the mashed potatoes enhanced the salmon flavor, I would order it again. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The restaurant is located on 46th Street, just off the corner of 8th Avenue. Left to right, the first picture below shows the back of the restaurant, the other shows the middle of the restaurant....
We went there late on a Tuesday night and it was surprisingly busy. The service was warm but crisp. Our waiter checked on us every now and then and also the food came out relatively quickly. All in all, great experience.
Food is excellent here, well seasoned. Portions are generous. Beer, wine and whiskey offerings are good. Service is perfect, with helpful, friendly waiters. You will appreciate the colorful whimsical plates and bowls. Prices are not cheap, which is to be expected in this block close to theaters.
