Mid chirashi honestly
Been here a few times to pick up some sushi and sashimi. The prices are a bit high for the quality you get. I enjoy their sushi the rice is cooked just right and the toppings on the sushi pieces are tasty. The sashimi is not always cut to a nice texture and I found some of the pieces to be rather fishy. Service is a bit chaotic, they always have trouble finding my order or they give me the wrong item.

I think the truth is, it's just okay! I got the Chirashi first class and I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity of fish, but disappointed by the quality. I'd say 1/3 of the pieces would not have passed quality control at a sit in sushi restaurant of any caliber because of how chewy they were.
If I lived nearby and really wanted sushi, maybe it'd be a quick treat from time to time, but otherwise, I'd skip it.

Ordered the nigiri standard- waited for about 10minutes. I’ve been on a mission to find the best sushi spot in the city. Probably one of the best sushi spots I’ve had so far that is privately owned and not a chain. The fish melts in your mouth and the sushi rice is seasoned. Pieces are nice and fat. You’re paying for high quality fish and the prices do reflect its standards. Osakana, you’ll be seeing me soon ;)

Did the Uni shucking experience. The shucking was fun and the sushi was great. But was disappointed by the Uni. The grade of the Maine Uni just wasn't good.

If you like sashimi, this is the best value place you can get for the high quality fish. It sells by pound (minimum order 1/4 pound). We went for the tuna. The bluefin lean was flavorful, medium one was a good balance between flavor and juicy, and the fatty one was juicy and melt in your mouth. We also got the sablefish and would recommend it as well. Everything was fabulous. I believe the kitchen closes 30min before the closing time. Take out only.

It's never a good idea to treat your customers like idiots (repeatedly) when they're trying to give you money.
Go anywhere else.

Did the sushi I class and had such a great time! They walk you through the origins of each roll you make and it’s such a fun class. The fish was fresh and they give a good amount of food! Left feeling full:) it’s also BYOB so if you want to drink any wine/sake you are welcome to

Amazing! We got the Nigiri - First Class for $50. You get 12 high quality pieces of sushi in the box. Would love if they had some seating or a tiny bar at the shop so you could eat there but we took it to Tompkins Park and it was a nice experience. Would love if they had more drink options as well as you take it to go (think sanzo would be good).
All in all great place with high quality sushi. Want to try a class soon.
