Excellent food. The waiter was attentive and responsive. It was a bit noisy but always was. Best pre-theater restaurant.

We walked in 30 mins before there was kitchen closed. The food came in super fast, and tasted great. The server and other staffs were very nice. We left very happy and satisfied.

Excellent osteria. The spectacular pasta and the best carpaccio I have ever eaten in my life. Spectacular service, 10 out of 10.

In the heart of Times Square, but a cozy spot for a peaceful dinner on a cold night. Great appetizers and small plates, and a wide variety of traditional Italian entrees. The pasta was perfect. The old school fresh produce array gave the ambience a very authentic feel. Friendly attentive service.

Spaghetti with white clam sauce was tasty and al dente. Pappardelle putanesca special had fresh pasta and just the right touch of anchovies such that an anchovy hater like it also. Duck breast special was cooked to order (we asked for medium rare) with good flavor from a reduced wine sauce, although would have preferred a crispier skin. Location is ideal for Broadway shows, our theatre was literally across the street. Servers are super nice. This is a real gem of a restaurant.

This is a comfortable setting. My guest and I were seated immediately upon presenting our reservation. The waitstaff did not rush our appetizers or entrees. The food was prepared well and was tasty. The wine menu, by the glass is short but sufficient. I will come back.

Osteria al Doge is one of my favorite NYC restaurants. It has two floors, very nice decor, exceptional service, and.....of course..... a-m-a-z-i-n-g food. Our two entrees were incredible.....Ravioli di Ricotta e Spinaci (homemade ravioli filled with spinach and ricotta cheese, in a butter sage sauce) was so soft, flavorful, and the remaining butter sage sauce was elegantly sponged up with the complimentary buttery bread. The Pollo al Limone (marinated chicken breast with sautéed zucchini and parsley roasted potatoes in a lemon sauce) came with two well seasoned pieces of chicken and I enjoyed how they cut up the zucchini into thin strips, which made it easier to eat. For dessert, we shared the Tortino al Cioccolato (gluten free chocolate cake with moist melting heart and Tahitian vanilla gelato). This was one of the best desserts I've ever had. The cake was M.O.I.S.T., the edges had the ideal crunchiness, and the gelato complemented each bite to complete enjoyment. Please, TRY IT! The Double Espresso, with a side of milk, was the perfect cap to this memorable meal. I cannot recommend Osteria al Doge enough. Come in, in order to be treated like royalty and enjoy a fine meal. Oh, don't forget to make reservations.

Food was ok but the table we got was not. It was stuck in a corner on the second floor of the restaurant and was so crowded that every time the waiters brought the wine food and water it was very uncomfortable.

Its a lovely restaurant near the theatres. The food is excellent as is the service. I had the homemade tagliatelle with bolognese which was excellent. I recommend the upside down apple tart for dessert. ?

Had a very nice pre-show dinner. It was nice that they had gluten free pasta so my friend could order that. The lemon chicken was delicious. The salad was good with a nice light dressing. The service was ok.

The food was delicious, the staff attentive— they couldn't have been nicer. The prices were quite moderate for the quality of the dishes. We will return next time we are in the city.
