The food was delicious. Our server Luca was very nice and attentive. Would recommend reservations due the small size.

I read the recent reviews and was excited to try this place. We were acknowledged by the hostess - not even a hello "we'll be with you". We were standing in front of hostess stand for 5 mins before being acknowledged again and taken to our table. Once we got there and seated, server came over and asked us if we were ready to order - no greeting at all. We ordered - drinks were good, caprese salad was okay and way overpriced, entrees were good, cheesecake was mediocre at best. I understand they were extremely busy, however I've never felt that rushed the entire meal. It took 3 attempts to get forks that were not on the table for 2 of the ppl at our table. Most Italian restaurants have a warm and welcoming atmosphere - this was not at all. I would not recommend or go there again. There are plenty of fantastic Italian restaurants in NYC.

The food was absolutely wonderful and full of flavor. The atmosphere was lively, though the place was quite busy and a bit loud, which added to the energetic vibe of the evening. Despite the crowd, the staff provided attentive and efficient service throughout. Overall, it was an excellent visit, and I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm in New York.

I don't understand the gushing reviews here. This is a very pleasant place but nothing outstanding. Our service was lackluster. We waited 15 minutes for someone to take an order from us and the waiter never read us the specials which we had no idea about until we heard another waiter mention them to the table next to us in the middle of our meal. The food is just okay. The cheese on my wife's pizza was not melted. My Caccio e Peppe was well prepared but rather tasteless. My carpaccio was overdressed and a bit tough. The place is very cute with exposed brick walls in a happening neighborhood. I just think you'll have a better experience someplace else.

So excited to see Pici Cacio Pepe on the menu! It was a little too salty for me but everything else was fabulous. We also had caprese, arancini and raviolis.

I had a wonderful time at Osteria Nonnino. The staff was friendly and my server Luca made sure all of the tables needs were met. The food was delicious, I recommend the gnocchi al pesto. If you’re looking for an Italian restaurant with a more personal atmosphere with delicious food, Osteria Nonnino is the place.
