What an absolutely amazing experience this was, the view was absolutely mind blowing. The cocktails by Tony were perfect to soak in the skyline of Manhattan. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to impress a date or just to soak in a very unique view of the city. Absolute bucket list NYC destination.

We came as a group of six — perfect for a special night out. The panoramic views of Manhattan are breathtaking, the interior is stylish, and the atmosphere feels intimate yet vibrant.
We tried many cocktails, and everything was spot on. I especially want to highlight the non-alcoholic ones — I tried all of them. Very sweet, but creative and surprisingly fun.
Service was attentive, and reservations are a must. A true sky-high experience — in every sense.

You can enter for free (one item minimum required), and no reservations required for the roof access. You have come in person and there is typically a wait time of 15-20 minutes.

Only came here for the rooftop bar. What magic! The mixologists gave me some of the best refreshing cocktails I've ever had, and it was a hot NY day! Every person on staff is wonderful too!! They go out of their way to make you feel welcome!
The views are also amazing! And it's just a fantastic way to quietly reflect as you stand over the city, while the sun sets with a million dollar cocktail in your hand! 🍸🍹🌇💯
Expensive but worth it. Drinks were delicious but more impressive was their rooftop and views. Not many seats though so mostly standing room outside or seating inside.

Walked over from the office to book the space for a team outing of 11 people next week. When I asked to see the space and where we would be seated, I was told that I would need to buy a drink in order to do that. I guess the loss of sales on that one drink was worth losing business for 11 people getting at least 2 drinks each. 🤷🏻♀️

While the drinks are great, we found overstory to be the most lacking amongst all the top bars we visited in New York.
We had to ask for water, no one asked us if we wanted to place an order or if we were satisfied with it, which honestly is an expectation for $30 drinks. We basically got no service until and unless we asked for it, and that took away from the entire experience.
Overall I would say there are plenty of NY bars with this level of drinks and much, much better service at same, or lower price, that I would recommend more.
