If you’re craving an exceptional pizza experience in New York, Ovest Pizzoteca is a must-visit spot. Nestled in the heart of the city, this place offers some of the best wood-fired pizza you’ll ever taste. The crust is thin, airy, and perfectly charred, with a delightful smoky aroma that only a wood-fired oven can deliver.
Their toppings are fresh, flavorful, and artfully balanced. Whether you go for a classic Margherita or something more adventurous like their truffle or prosciutto options, every bite is a testament to their commitment to quality and authenticity. The tomato sauce bursts with natural sweetness, and the mozzarella melts into creamy perfection.
The cozy, rustic ambiance adds to the experience, making it an ideal spot for a casual dinner with friends or a date night. The service is friendly and efficient, ensuring that your pizza is piping hot when it hits your table.
In a city teeming with pizza joints, Ovest Pizzoteca stands out as a gem for its exceptional flavor, craftsmanship, and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Great spot with great food! The caprese burrata and homemade ravioli were great. Cocktails fantastic. Tiramisu for dessert was good as well. Service was excellent. Definitely recommend

Good service, small pasta plate. The prices on the menu did not match those on the end of the ticket. Good service, good atmosphere.

Had previously been and enjoyed the coffee i had: Suggested it for lunch today with two friends from out of town bc it was conveniently located. TRAUMATIZED because in broad daylight a ROACH 🪳 WALKED ON OUR TABLE 🤮 Wen had already ordered and no one else saw the roach so i didn’t make a scene but i paid to not eat bc my appetite was ruined.
Only once in 25 years of living here
have i seen that before (at Friend of a Farmer) and i know it’s nyc but it’s got to be a pretty bad unattended infestation for the roach to prance around during the day NEAR THE CUSTOMERS.
In 5 years in New York, the tastiest pizza I've ever eaten. To taste delicious pizza, we go here from Brooklyn
Stopped in for lunch while walking the High Line. The Pizza Diavola was exceptional. The Pizza Arugola was very good. The Insalate on the printed menu was simple, fresh and perfectly balanced - outstanding. Service is effective.

I recently dined at Ovest Pizzoteca and Bar, and I have to say, it was a truly unsettling experience. While I had high hopes for the food and atmosphere, my meal was completely ruined when I spotted a roach crawling along the bar right next to our food and drinks.
While the staff tried to address the situation kindly, their efforts fell short. Unfortunately, the roach ended up on our food!
To make matters worse, we were still charged for the meal, and the only compensation offered was a meager $20 discount. Given the circumstances, this felt utterly inadequate. A restaurant should prioritize cleanliness and customer satisfaction, and this experience highlighted a serious lack of both.
I left feeling frustrated and grossed out. Where we didn’t even feel comfortable finishing our drinks. I won't be returning, and I strongly advise anyone considering dining at Ovest Pizzateca to think twice. There are far better options out there that prioritize hygiene and customer care.

We were excited to try Ovest, especially given its cozy ambiance and attentive service. However, the food unfortunately missed the mark. The white bean soup, which we were looking forward to, surprisingly didn’t have a single white bean—it was instead filled with mung beans. To make matters worse, I ended up getting food poisoning, likely from the margherita pizza or the cacio e pepe. While we appreciated the atmosphere and staff, the experience overall was disappointing. We had hoped for a much better meal.

We had an eggplant parmigiana and a caccio pepe, both dishes were spectacular. The place is nice and right in front of Sleep no More. Advisable!

Sometimes takes an hour to make a pizza for delivery
Was ok but nothing special. Disappointed that the crust wasn't crisper and the food wasn't particularly hot. Ingredients on top of pizza could have been a little fresher/higher quality. Given that this is essentially a pizzeria, was surprised. Picked it because it's right across the street from Sleep No More. Can't comment on noise as we were there quite early, with very few other diners. Really don't like that they charge a 4% credit card fee. Since businesses are usually charge 1.5-3.5%, someone is clearly profiting here. And gouging the customer.
