This old standby is a destination restaurant, and by “this,” I mean the original P.J. Clarke’s at 55th and 3rd in manhattan. Founded in the 1880’s P.J.’s is the quintessential Irish pub. In its long history, it’s been a hangout for celebrities, as well as ordinary folks. Was here for the first time after our T2T run . Service by Nicole was prompt , knowledgeable and highly professional . Appetizers were delish . We loved our first experience . Little things like the owner greeting us . Food runners .. clean bathrooms . Beautiful setting . Moderate priced but all in all great food . . .
I discovered this place by accident and I'm glad I did. They're amazing. Went here with my family. I had the proper fish and chips with a Coors Light. The fish and fries were well cooked and well seasoned. I was disappointed the Coors Light was in a bottle and not on tap but that's not a deal breaker.
