We had the Rhode Island Calamari as an appetizer, but I wasn’t impressed - it was quite oily with lots of breading and barely any calamari taste. My dad got Fish & Chips and really enjoyed them. My mom had The Lobster Roll with waffle fries - she also liked her food. (for me these waffle fries were great!) I ordered the New England Clam Chowder soup with Parmesan Truffle Fries - the fries were good, but the soup was just okay and definitely not the best I’ve had.

This old standby is a destination restaurant, and by “this,” I mean the original P.J. Clarke’s at 55th and 3rd in manhattan. Founded in the 1880’s P.J.’s is the quintessential Irish pub. In its long history, it’s been a hangout for celebrities, as well as ordinary folks. Unfortunately it’s gone corporate and eponymous spots have opened in lower manhattan, Vegas, and elsewhere, and with that some of the charm is lost. Stick with the basics….burgers, Mac &...
Was here for the first time after our T2T run . Service by Nicole was prompt , knowledgeable and highly professional . Appetizers were delish . We loved our first experience . Little things like the owner greeting us . Food runners .. clean bathrooms . Beautiful setting . Moderate priced but all in all great food . . .
