Ordered a minimalist naked style red velvet cake for my wedding from Padoca, they were incredibly helpful, delivered it carefully and on time, and it tastes amazing! Best red velvet cake I've ever had.

I absolutely love this place.
They have the best coffee on the UES.
The PDQs are amazing. I get them fresh and also their frozen cook-at-home bags…my kids love them so they are a real life saver when out of breakfast ideas!
I would also recommend the chocolate chip banana bread muffins and loaves. I am not gluten free - I eat these because they are delicious! I had been eating them for years before I even noticed the “GF” label on the bag. Now I get them for all my friends who ARE gluten free.
The molasses cookies and strawberry muffins and apple cakes - when in season - are amazing as well.

I ordered a dozen Brigadeiro donuts for New Year and…dear Lord, they were dry AF! The brigadeiro(caramel cholocate) part was literally stuffed only in one side of the donut, not in the middle. Expensive and not that tasty….dry af. Omg, you need a gallon of water after eating that.
Will never order again!!
Also, they dont have a phone number and they dont know how to deal with costumer service and online requests. They will never respond to your e-mails.
Never again!!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with this bakery. I ordered a cake for a very special occasion and provided clear instructions along with a reference image for how I wanted it to look. Unfortunately, what I received was a far cry from what was promised. The design lacked the details and colors I requested, and instead of the elegant and detailed cake I envisioned, I received something that looked hastily put together and cheap.

When I reached out to express my concerns, the response I received was dismissive and unapologetic. The excuse given was that the cake I had referenced was smaller than the size I ordered, which has no relevance to the fact that the colors, piping, and overall execution did not match my instructions. It was clear they did not take the time or effort to ensure the order was executed properly, despite the importance of this occasion.

What is worse, instead of offering any meaningful resolution or compensation, I was left feeling as though my concerns were not taken seriously. This is not only poor customer service but also unacceptable for a business that is supposed to make celebrations special.

I would not recommend this bakery to anyone looking for quality, attention to detail, or professionalism. This experience has left me heartbroken, and I will definitely not be using their services again.

Pan de queso was amazing.
Espresso is good. Their lattes weren’t too milky they were perfect.
Loved their take home and bake stuff.

We ordered a unicorn cake for our daughter’s birthday and it’s absolutely stunning!! Ordering online and delivery to LIC was smooth. Doesn’t hurt that the cake was delicious too!!

You can't get the eggs scrambled on a BEC?
You're a bakery without a fork and a cup?

Egg sandwiches have decent ingredients and the roll is unique, but not worth $12.

Save yourself 50% and go to roast and toast next door.

Ordered a two tier orange olive oil cake with vanilla marscapone for a baby shower. They executed the ‘little dumpling’ theme perfectly. It was easy to place the order with them. They had the cake ready for pickup at 8:30am the morning of the party. My only regret was I got the cake for twenty chicks thinking no one would eat any….people went up for seconds and thirds. I got the tiniest slice. 😭😭😭 I highly recommend this place. The cake was delicious and looked beautiful, and they were logistically easy to deal with.

I walked in to order 5 BEC sandwiches when they let me know that they only had 3 due to the fact that they were making more. I said ok that’s fine but how much longer? They said it wasn’t going to happen because it was going to be more than 20 minutes. So I paid for my 3 and sat down to wait when suddenly a couple behind me orders 2 BEC - to which they reply the same thing - the only difference is the couple gave some pushback and the workers just said ok that’s fine we’ll accelerate the process for two. I walk up after and ask if it’s possible that I can get two more also and they said no. Mind you, my entire order was over $100 because I also got a cake. And I still had to wait over 20 minutes for those 3 sandwiches.

I am truly just so disappointed in their lack of customer service after this was a place I loved for years. Definitely not what it used to be.

Do NOT!!!! purchase a cake from here. I paid over 100 dollars for this cake with the simple request that they put a 25 on the cake, and they could not be bothered to center the 25 in the middle of the cake. I’m so disappointed and so sad that this ruined my friend’s 25th birthday cake.

My fav spot to go to in the neighborhood. The drink prices are reasonable. It's hard to find an oat drink around $5 nowadays. The staff always has a smile on their faces in the morning.

This place is fantastic! Ordered a 6in vanilla vintage ornate cake in white on the Padoca website. The entire process was very easy to place an order, add a personal sentiment on the cake, and input a preferred pickup date.
The cake came out beautiful and they even added gold lettering (because of the verbiage) without me having to ask. I really appreciated that little touch and it made the cake very special.
The price on the cake was a bonus and was very affordable compared to the other ornate cakes in the city.
They also put it in a wide bottom bag so there's little room for your cake to get messed up during transport. They got the whole thing down to a science! I highly recommend Padoca Bakery for all your baked goods needs and will be going back in the future.
