This food was so good I'm still at the restaurant as I leave this review! Absolutely incredible good, great service. The best Italian food I've ever had!

We spent two weeks in New York, the first week we randomly chose this nice Italian restaurant as our dinner spot. We were completely satisfied with the place and service. Towards the end of the second week, we went to an Italian restaurant again and sat down at the same place completely by accident. Everything was perfect, thank you very much! We had a beautiful time at Paesano on Mulberry st in NYC. The food was great and everything was just perfect. Then we went next door to the Canoli King for capacino and canoli's and listened to Sal Sinatra singing live for us. Lots of fun and we can't wait to go back again. -LJ

I definitely would not eat here again. I'm not a big fan of this type of food to begin with but I didn't have good food here. Well first I was at a table of 8 and only the one side of 4 got glasses of water so finally after 10 minutes or so I made a comment and then we finally got our water. Then I got the spaghetti and meatballs. It's ironic because right above our table they had a sign that said "More Spaghetti, Less Upsetti." Well this was definitely not true for me and I'll be much less upsetti if I never have their spaghetti again. I've had much better at home and the meatballs were mid. It was definitely a let down for being a restaurant in Little Italy. Also I ding service here because they asked my buddy what he ordered to make sure and proceeded to bring him the wrong dish. This was corrected though. Lastly, cool atmosphere but I ding it because the bathroom is a little creepy.

The food is nothing special, anyone can cook a better quality pasta at home, the pizza is almost raw, the worst pizza we have ever eaten, including chain pizzas, a pleasant and well-equipped place.

Great restaurant, Italian classic menu, the fried calamari was perfect, veal parm and baked ziti were solid dishes. The ambience is great, staff was super friendly for how busy and chaotic the place is. Best part they do not haggle you to come to the restaurant like other Little Italy Italian restaurants do.

The place may seem crowded, but it's a well oiled machine, the staff is perfectly in sync and dinner for 8 was delicious.

Came here at 8:30pm for dinner on a Thursday. The restaurant was packed but the friendly host greeted us and assured we’d be seated in a timely manner. We waited around 10-15 min for 3 people. The interior is beautiful and cozy with strung lights. It’s a bit tight so be mindful of walking and also of your belongings. The complimentary bread was nothing special but the olive oil was delicious! It was oil with garlic and herbs/spices. The bread seemed to be a regular small baguette and it soaked up the oil well.We got a Caesar salad to start. It was nicely coated in the sauce and cheeses. It was tasty, especially since I haven’t had many greens this whole trip.I’m not a huge vodka sauce person but there were so many tables with rigatoni a la vodka that I felt compelled to try it. I was also in the mood for a thick, al dente pasta and this satisfied the craving! It tasted like a cross between a white and a red sauce since it was creamy but also had a tomato flavor. Some places make it a bit bitter, but this wasn’t. It’s probably the best vodka pasta I’ve had so far.The spaghetti carbonara was tasty! The meat paired well with the rich, white, saucy noodles, and there was a good amount of meat. If you’re in the mood for a white, creamy sauce, I recommend sharing with someone who got a red pasta to balance out the flavors. The spaghetti marinara tasted fresh. We got a side of sausage (comes with 2 for $5) and it came in a pool of marinara sauce. It was a nice protein to the rigatoni and spaghetti dishes. We got a white sangria but our server mistakenly gave us a red one one; we said it’s okay and he assured us the red one was better. This sangria was less sweet than most I’ve had which I liked but it also felt a bit watery. We also got a glass of Montepulciano D’Abruzzo wine which was full-bodied with red fruit flavors. It paired nicely with the food. The service was nice and the overall atmosphere was warming. We collectively sang happy birthday to the table next to us. It was a lovely way to end a full day out in New York.
