Food excellent, lamb shank in mildly rich and thicker sauce with a fine layer of real golden leaf and a naan bread was worth of every penny, My wife had a really great time, staff very plesant and professional. I am huge fan of indain cuisine but this was on another level, the sauces, crackers and main courses had been cooked with outmost care and expertise !

First time here although I have been in NYC forever. Regret not going here sooner. Don't often write reviews but the meal I had deserves a 5 star review. Food was just insane! Achari chicken tikka had the most amazing flavor. Main course chicken chettinad had solid balance of spices. Even the dessert and tea I had were delicious and flavorful. I would highly recommend this place. Amazing experience!

Had dinner here last night and really enjoyed it. Samosas, chicken tikka masala, rice and naan - all fresh and tasty. We were served by Dolma who is professional and has a lovely manner.
The entire staff here is excellent, and the owner and manager are two of the kindest people. Not to mention the food is incredible too! You can really tell when people care about their work because it takes the whole experience up a level! I also thought the prices were very fair with generous portions, especially for the neighborhood. My friend and I were very happy we came here!

The food was fabulous, especially the lamb curry and garlicky cauliflower! I have eaten in Indian restaurants all over NYC and in London, and Paisley's lamb curry was one of the best. The owner, Juthika, is on site and even answered the telephone at 10am when the restaurant was closed, and she immediately addressed a question I had about how the prior night's charge was showing up in Amex. The service was splendid, very attentive and pleasant. This restaurant is just wonderful, largely due to its hand-on owner and excellent chef. Go try Paisley if you love Indian food!

Went on a Friday night and the restaurant was nearly empty. I can see why. We spent $400 and were not impressed. Food lacked flavor and presentation. We will not be back. In a city like NY where you have insane competition this restaurant needs to step it up big time otherwise I can’t see them being open for much longer with the prices they are charging and how big their space is.
