Not the greatest idea to close the dining room area when there’s nowhere else to sit in that neighborhood. As a tourist I didn’t feel comfortable eating while standing up outside.

I have only used the sip club membership to get free drinks, that’s it. That being said, it can get crowded at times waiting for your order especially during the morning. I had to wait more than 5 minutes just for a drink… I can’t really comment on the food, but it seems decent and the prices aren’t the worst I’ve seen. There isn’t much space to find a seat and chill either so I would definitely do takeout and go to the local park.

Please hire more people. Those there were doing the best they could but were far too few working there for the amount of orders coming in. It should not take 20 minutes to get a bagel. I ordered it toasted and it was sitting just behind the counter for long enough to be completely cold by the time it was finally called. Once again I'm not blaming any of the individual employees, I'm blaming whoever decided that the hiring minimum viable staff was a good idea..

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered pickup and went on my lunch break and they left half of my lunch out of the order and I only found out after I came back to work. I called and they said they will send someone to deliver the food. 1 hour later they called and said they can’t deliver the food and they have to refund the item. It’s such a big inconvenience because they messed up and i have to suffer. and they really need to get it together on their end before they overpromise and under deliver.

I am a member of Sip Club. I can put aside the fact that most mornings the coffee pots are empty or creamers etc are empty. Today was the best though......As usual I kindly asked if coffee could be refilled (they were ALL empty), the employee disappeared for 10 minutes and when she finally returned with coffee, she proceeded to slam the lift portion of coffee inserts with a definite attitude. This is either poor management of poor employees. I will probably cancel this memmership

Today I went I to this Panera for the first time. I was promised a $10 credit from corporate after a negative experience in the cross county location. After a week of waiting, the rewards were still not in my account. I spoke with the manager at the 5th Ave location, Bryd, who truly went above and beyond to help me, with courtesy, care, compassion and patience. She contacted customer service on my behalf, rung me up and served me my meal. I’m so impressed by her professionalism; I truly feel like she should be in charge of NY area Panera’s. I’ve been a Panera customer since you all opened in the early 2000’s. This brand is not the cheapest and the customer service isn’t always the best. But my experience with Bryd today made up for all of that, and I just want to celebrate this employee doing an amazing job, I appreciate her kindness, and think SEVERAL of the employees in this brand can benefit from her kind of expertise.C. I come every day, and overall the place is very convenient as I live down the block. I understand that some days it gets pretty busy there, but the thing I can’t figure out is why there’s so much variability in the strength of the iced coffees. Today’s was like an iced tea.

I went in there with 4 seniors and a kid. Ordered 7 garden veg sandwiches, it took 45 mins just to prepare them with lot of arguing, zero customer service, very un friendly staff. Will never go back again, very upset with Panera
