My friend and I came right when they opened & though they weren’t quite ready for us they accommodated and the service was wonderful. You can taste that everything is made fresh. I definitely recommend coming on a weekday !!

If you HATE flavor, then this is for you…
Not once did they ask about the spice level or how we wanted our drinks. The food was bland, overly mild, and didn’t even have a pinch of salt. The curry is very sweet, and the server is very over the top. Every few minutes, he would walk over and ask if the food was good. It was not. Informed the server of our concerns, but he just apologized and did not try to find a resolution. Left half of the entrees behind because they weren’t even fixable with the provided condiments. The portions were also very small for the price. The complimentary appetizer flatbread (not sure of the name, but it’s like a large tortilla chip with seeds) was stale. The decorations are also very bothersome. I am only 5’9, yet my braids were constantly being caught on the lights hanging down.

Please turn on the AC. The restaurant atmosphere with the christmas lights is delightful and the cash only is not a huge issue if you know beforehand. The server could have been a more friendly in general. Would recommend as at least a one-time experience.

Panna 2 is a great restaurant to celebrate any special occasion! I celebrated my 25th birthday last weekend, and it was wonderful. With a group of about ten or so the restaurant didn't require that we hit a minimum or do a pre-fixed menu but allowed us to order a la carte-- which I really appreciated. They were also so accommodating in letting us get an ice cream cake delivered in the middle of our dinner (in between appetizers and dinner) since I really wanted an ice cream cake for my birthday but the restaurant had no place to store it (they do have a place though to store regular cakes). Overall, with byob and the food, everything was great and the vibes were awesome with the whole restaurant singing along for my birthday! The place is also cash only but you can zelle! definitely recommend. Note, I called a month in advance to get a table but it didn't seem like they really noted that down and wouldn't give me the happy birthday table that was clearly reserved for my party when I got there. Despite that, I had a great experience.
