An exceptional Italian restaurant on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Great food, outstanding service and ambiance. Also very accommodating when my wife asked for a chicken dish not on the menu. It was served with a smile. Espresso, cappuccino, and dessert - all fabulous! We will definitely recommend Paola's and be back soon!

Fine Italian food in an intimate charming space. The menu is mostly classic dishes done with excellent ingredients and care. The waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. One of our party is gluten-free and he made sure she was taken care of. Lovely to have this Paola's in our neighborhood.

We loved our delicious meal at Paola's, and will definitely be back again. Very charming spot with excellent service.

Was told we couldn't get dessert and to chug our half bottle of wine because the private party who booked the whole restaurant arrived 30 mins early. Us along with 4 other tables were given the boot. No notice. Just the check when we finished our entree.

Always perfect. The combination of good food, service and quiet make for an ideal evening.

It is an authentically old world Italian trattoria. It has a gentile quality and the menu concentrates on flavor and excellence rather than trendiness. No, it's not a red sauce kind of place. It's just so much more.

Paola's has been a family favorite for over 30 years. The mozzarella and Bolognese and carciofi can't be beat. The boss nova music is lovely, but at a good level so one can easily hear conversations. Service is always gracious and attentive . The combination of the forgoing makes for a warm and delightful evening every time.

Thank you for deciding to remove your outside patio in the middle of the night last night from 10:00 till 2:00 in the morning. I loved listening to the sound of a sledge hammer, electric saw and hammers all night!

Very special Italian eatery. We used to go to a different location a few years ago and came back last week. It was as tasty as we remembered it.

They do not have brunch, it's just a dinner menu for brunch. Google maps and the Internet have this wrong.Their restaurant on Madison is one of my favorite Italian in NYC, the Host at the one on lex was rude though to us while we were with our kids.Avoid the Lexington one, go to Madison location and remember, no brunch!!

Great food, if a bit on the pricy side. Ordering takeout is always a great option from Paola's! The bread is sometimes stale, so if you're not there in person you may want to get some of your own to go with your dinner.

A real gem.I am very picky when it comes to Italian food having grown up in an Italian family. You would think New York City is full of great Italian restaurants. I have discovered that is not the case, until I ate at Paola’s restaurant.Paola’s delivers an authentic and delicious meal with a unique menu and accessible wine list.I also loved the simple but all home made deserts.Definitely my favorite Italian restaurant in all of New York.
