To start on a positive note, the waiter was great! He was attentive, kind and quick. This place was NOT IT! It's dark because it's run down and dirty. One of the walls was literally put together with clear packing tape. Other than our table all guests were in their 20s. The DJ did not play anything relevant to today, no house music, no club music. He fixes his ponytail every 5 minutes on the dot. He accepted a tip from someone in our party in exchange to play some requested dance music (EDM) and never played the songs. When later asked he said “I'm not playing any of that”. We were a large party with a HUGE bill aside from the two bottles of champagne that cost $700. Basically our experience was nothing like advertised. I would not return nor would I recommend.

I never leave reviews, but this place really impressed me! Pappas New York has incredible Greek food — the lamb chops were tender and full of flavor, and the lobster pasta was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great, and the staff went above and beyond. Especially Joni, who took amazing care of our table last Saturday — super attentive, professional and friendly the whole night. Don't want to forget the sparkling guy Jerry, he was amazing. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in New York!

Celebrated my birthday at Pappas and felt decently disappointed. Waited 30 minutes after being sat down and the place was almost empty to be asked if we want to order drinks. The drinks were not anywhere near perfect and each drink was between $20-$25. My wine was served in a super dirty glass and the pour was really half a glass. After I mentioned that to the waiter and bartender I was given attitude and there was no apology. The food was mediocre and very small portions, most of my friends left hungry. At the end they served 6 desserts total for a party of 17 people, I found that laughable. The music and dancing was the highlight but was pretty much the only highlight.

Me and wife decided to give this place a try and we were amazed Food amazing coming from two Caribbean chefs!! Thank you for the ultimate experience!!! We will be coming back this weekend again!

Slow service. Cold food, food was tasteless. Looks like the starters are pre maid it gets to the table cold. We order a drink and it never arrived, despite letting several waitresses know. I would NOT recommend this place! If you want to have a good time go elsewhere.
