My favorite spot for burritos in the city. My gym used to be in the area and I would always have a craving for good Mexican cuisine. My search for something filling where I can pack in a lot of calories after grueling workouts ended at the doorstep of Paquitos.Their burritos are bigger than my forearms, and that's before you add in the lettuce and tomatoes they put on the side. I most commonly do the combo, carnitas, and suadero burritos, all delicious choices. I personally opt for diving right in and getting a little messy, but I've had friends who dissect the big burrito with a fork and knife.They have a nice punch card loyalty system, and although seating is limited, the restaurant will probably have a soccer game on, with some Spanish music blessing your ears. If you are looking to enjoy the outdoors, Tompkins Sq. park is a short walk away. They are open till midnight, and out of all the restaurants I know that are open that late, none give me more enjoyment than Paquitos!

Authentic Mexican Food. Always fresh and delicious. Eat here! Acapulco burrito is amazing and steak torta is killer. Im addicted to their pinto beans!…so much flavor. Gaucomoke n chips is awesome too. Everything is good. Delivery available.
Paquitos is excellent value for little money with healthy food and fresh ingredients.Vegetarian options: With rice, plantains, guacamole, beans, and Pico de Gallo, one can eat vegetarian here if one is not too strict about shared cooking utensils with meat.Dietary restrictions: This place has no special preparations for dietary restrictions, and pork and other meat products are prepared here.Parking: Parking is expensive in a local garage or free if you have a half an hour to look for a parking spot.Kid-friendliness: This place is a hit with tweens and up. For younger, the high chairs may be dangerous.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a step in the front and an awning. The entry is also narrow. I think it would be difficult or impossible for a wheelchair to enter. Best option is curbside or delivery. Most of their business I delivery.
Really delicious food! Super flavorful. The black beans have a smoky taste to it which I loved. Very reasonable prices for 2023, especially given the portion sizes (I ended up finishing my three amigos fajitas over two meals), will definitely be back.

Service was horrible! Had an unpleasant encounter with female cashier after changing my order within a minute of my phone call. Although I apologized for the change, she was extremely rude, unprofessional, and combative. When I walked into establishment, cashier proceeded to ignore and not acknowledge me when I approached the register to pay. When I offered professional feedback for her behavior, she was unwilling to accept accountability and instead said "I'm the first person to tell her this" while also rolling her eyes. We are living in a generation where paying customers are given attitude and not valued. Beware of the customer service here!
