Outstanding! $15 sandwich feeds two and the food is bomb. Get the Dennis on a hoagie and be energized for the entire day. Limited seating to a single bench outside, but nearby parks give ample room for you to grab and go.

Amazing food is worth every penny, so fresh and could feed 3 people for a hero. Hands down best place in town

Food was great. Long line, but it moved quickly, so don't get discouraged as you get to the location and you see a line.

Like a neighborhood deli, almost just with little options ??‍♂️ the sandwiches could be fresher or at least the ingredients. Imagine not so fresh bread as

My brother in-law and some other people told me about this place a while ago. I really was hyped up about coming here. I hate to say it I should have came in with low expectations that way I wouldn't have been disappointed. I came in too late in the day. It was not busy at all there were a couple of people waiting for their sandwiches. The place for me felt sort like a dive which is not a bad thing. I ordered a prosciutto with fresh mozzarella doused with red wine vinegar. I assumed that I was getting fresh mozzarella instead they pulled a couple of pre-sliced regular deli mozzarella from a grey bin. I don't know what I was expecting at this point. I generally don't care for extremely large sandwiches that that don't fit into your mouth. I really just look for quality. The sandwich from here was ok but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again. Maybe I ordered wrong but if I do come here again I would probably order a hot sandwich. It seems that the other two people before me were waiting for hot sandwiches.

The Dennis! Easily feeds 2 people and is embarrassingly good and cheap. I came here by accident 7 years ago and have been coming back regularly. A gem.

Words can't explain how good the sandwiches are here. If you want the quintessential NY Italian deli where they have no problem piling on the cold cuts or cutlets on your sandwich then this is your place. My go to is either the Dennis or the chicken parm. You can't go wrong either way. Get there early to avoid the lunchtime rush. You won't regret it and you might not ever want to eat a hero in any other place ever again.
