I was extremely disappointed with the service I received at this location. When I placed an order through the kiosk, the staff's behavior was rude and unprofessional. They failed to inform me that cold items could be picked up on my own, which added unnecessary hassle to my experience. What was most concerning was the stark contrast in treatment when my white colleague visited shortly after. He was treated with politeness and respect, which suggests a disturbing bias in service. I hope the management takes steps to address this issue and provide equal treatment to all customers.

Park Ave Kitchen is a beautiful space with Himalayan salt walls and a whimsical menu. The atmosphere feels sophisticated yet approachable.

I was excited for the appetizers, and they were a mixed bag. The bread service was disappointing — the Gruyère Popovers were overcooked and tasted burnt, though the sweet-and-spicy butter was excellent. The cornbread was actually very good, warm and flavorful, but overall the bread service felt expensive for what it was. The clam pie was the real winner among the starters, with a crisp crust and fresh briny flavor. The lobster dumplings were fine too — nothing particularly memorable, but worth ordering if you want variety.

The rigatoni Bolognese was hearty and well made, but the short ribs were the clear highlight of the night — tender, rich, and enhanced by a subtle coffee-BBQ glaze.

I was also looking forward to the warm chocolate cake, but being told it would take another 30 minutes to prepare at the end of the meal was a letdown, so I skipped dessert entirely.

Service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet on a Sunday night at 7:30, which made the large space feel a little flat. Prices are on the higher side — not a great value, but understandable for Midtown.

Overall, Park Ave Kitchen has some very good dishes and a striking space, but the letdowns with the bread and dessert, plus the pricing, keep it from being a five-star experience.

My friend and I celebrated her birthday lunch here yesterday and like the other reviewers mentioned, we also had an amazing time.

The food is DELISH! We had 2 glasses of prosecco, the burger, short ribs and key lime pie for dessert.

Our waiter Gabe was fantastic! Attentive, friendly and professional!

We were greeted warmly by the host (whose name I didn’t get) and were seated in a quieter part of the restaurant.

I can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

We stopped in here our first night in New York after checking into our hotel, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The general manager, Anthony, welcomed us with incredible energy and made sure we had a great spot to catch the U.S. Open. Our server, Terry T., was outstanding—professional, attentive, and spot-on with his recommendations. The Caesar salad was fresh and crisp, and both the DB Roasted Chicken and Crispy Skin Salmon were excellent. They even asked how I preferred my salmon cooked, which is rare, and it came out perfectly.

After dinner, when we mentioned we were celebrating our 18th anniversary, Anthony went above and beyond by personally securing us a reservation at one of his favorite New York restaurants—a place that usually takes months to book. That thoughtful gesture, combined with the quality food and warm hospitality, left us with a lasting impression. Highly recommend.
