Celebrated an old friend's birthday on busy Saturday night and was accommodated with quiet table and singing staff. Food was very good too. Big thank you to George and his outstanding team for an excellent dining experience. We'll be back!

One of the UES neighborhood 's favorites! Never fails to please: from friendly (but not overly so - very professional) service and yummy traditional Italian fare. The menu has enough to meet everyone's needs, but not too overwhelming. Always a few specials, but not so many that you wonder if things on the main menu "aren't special".

First date with our 9 month old baby and everything was perfect. Our server and busser for lunch on 10/22 were remarkably nice and accommodating with the stroller and all we had with us. Food was served fast and was tasty! Drinks were perfect too! Dessert was amazing! Thank you guys. ♥️🙏

Never disappoints! Food is always excellent. The restaurant is cozy yet elegant. A neighborhood favorite for many who used to go to Parma years ago. Thank you Oriente for all that you have done for Masseria East. You have made it very welcoming! And the new oilve oil (for sale) is a special treat!

Very nice restaurant with good food, excellent service and not too noisy. Could be a bit less expensive!

we were rushed at every course, the broccoli rabe was unbelievably bitter and the food under salted.

Food and service are good, but price point is somewhat high when compared to Lusardi's ;Nicola's and Due.

At the restaurants request in their response I edited below.

I just had their delivery. The food was terrible. Had to throw out. I do not recommend their delivery.

Had a great dinner last night. Restaurant ambiance and environment are very upscale but not over the top. Excellent service and menu! Enjoyable and will definitely return.

Usually LOVE this restaurant as a neighborhood favorite BUT was very disappointed with our table placement. We specifically requested a table in the front of the restaurant, as we had important business associates coming from abroad for a special dinner meeting. However, we were given probably the WORST table in the entire space (all the way in the back and next to the kitchen & prep area) Needless to say, it was quite embarrassing after telling our guests before arrival that this was a favorite spot that we frequent AND there was a lot of distracting activity from the prep area, which made the evening/meal challenging. Not what we would have expected....truly disappointing.

This establishment is a hidden jewel. I believe it would be well worth your time to visit and experience it if you find yourself nearby.

I hate writing bad reviews, but this place has such a wonderful rating I thought I had to try it. It was so average. Nothing compared to the old Parma that used to be there. Newer and nicer but the food had no flavor and it’s kinda over priced for average. Compared to the great Italian options in the area like Nicola’s, Ellios, Lasardi’s. Probably five or six newer places because I haven’t lived in this area in a long time. But I was very disappointed and I hope it was just an off night.

Masseria East booked two large groups at the same time (about 20 people each) so dinner for us last night was a very disappointing experience. The noise level was awful, so loud that we couldn't talk to each other. They knew it was bad too, because the manager sat outside the restaurant and never visited each table as the manager usually does. If this restaurant, which has an excellent wait staff and consistently very good food, wants to book large groups and not close the restaurant, then I have no reason to return there.
