My husband and I go there once a week. We absolutely love it. The food is amazing. The prices are very reasonable. The service has improved greatly! Not to be missed!

Ambiance: Small but cozy and quaint. Love the vibes for a date or small family dinner. Cute tile decor and very French bistro - try to sit outside if weather permits! 4/5 Food: Def specializes in seafood. Their scallop ceviche was fresh and yummy. I also loved the cod and duck confit in particular.4/5

Cozy boîte on the UES. Got lucky and snagged a table on a busy Friday night without a reservation. Definitely a hit with the locals and I can see why. Staff treated us like family, food was amazing, and the price point was fantastic considering the quality and portions. I got the lamb tagine and my friend had the shrimp. Shrimp were super fresh and the lamb was so tender. Highly recommend!

The place is a little small but the food was really good. We did a full course and everything hit the spot. We had a lovely conversation with the couple next to us and we will return to order what they got.

Pascalou is a charming French Bistro we discovered during a museum date. The food was unexpectedly delicious, especially the beef bourguignon and lamb chops. The service was impeccable, thanks to our friendly Romanian waiter who made us feel at ease. Located in the Upper East Side of NYC, Pascalou was the ultimate delicious treat on a rainy day. Highly recommended for a delightful dining experience in the city. Will definitely come back!

I love French good and have had alot of in including in France. Pascalou's food is so good. I just had the best meal. the Escargot were delicious and different. Duck breast au poivre and potatoes gratin so good, and the portion was generous with lots of sauce. AND they have profiteroles--the perfect meal with a lovely Bordeaux. good service fanatastic.

Incredibly strange. It’s 3:23 pm on a Sunday. There are at least six tables open. I asked for a table for one. The host barks at me: what do you want? A table for one, I repeat calmly. He looks around as if hunting for space amid the sea of empty tables. Says, I have to ask the chef. There’s a bit of dialogue exchanged between a curtain. The host returns: sorry, we’re closed. Meanwhile, a bevy of white older women scattered throughout are being served. Needless to say, I’ll not be returning.

The ambiance was amazing, the service was great, and the food was delicious. I had the braised short rib and it was great, I also tasted some of the pan-seared cod and it was delicious. But the highlight was the bread pudding, I have a huge sweet tooth and it was truly scrumptious.

One of the best French bistros in UES. It is a bit of a small place (the bathroom is tiny!) but it really delivers when it comes to the atmosphere and, of course, the food itself. I recommend a combo of French toast and croque-monsieur which creates a perfect balance of sweet and savory.

The meal was delicious from beginning to end. The goat cheese salad.. superb. The seafood risotto divine. The cab lovely. And the chocolate souffle.. heavenly. And the service a perfect balance of attentive and not intrusive. We shall return soon!

We long-time neighborhood patrons have had recent disappointments with Asian offerings, such as curry-flavored, not comparable in flavor/intensity to a favorite Malaysian restaurant. Bad enough. Worse and more recent: we looked for the French Classic Boeuf Bourguignon, but it was not on the menu, and we were told it was a Special. We were so pleased, but It was under-cooked greyish beef cubes of inedible half fat and grizzle un-integrated into insipid, bland watery "sauce", as if you Did Not REALLY Have It, but threw it together hoping it would be acceptable. NOT!!! For the real Asian thing we will have to go to the West Side. Next time will first ask for the chef's strong points, if any, and expect the truth. We're fine with service and ambiance, but in winter you need something to keep the cold air from rushing in each time the front door opens.
