We went there in the late afternoon and sat at the counter. There were 3 of us and we shared a bottle of wine and ordered 2 pizzas. The food was delicious as always. We paid the bill on the phone and were finishing the last of the wine when the hostess came up and told us that we only had 2 more minutes because she needed the space. The place was half empty - all the other seats at the bar were empty and there were more than 5 empty tables. VERY RUDE to rush us out for no reason since there was nobody waiting. Not sure if they deserve our business. his is not the right way to treat customers. We have been going there for many years and were very disappointed.

Finally tried a pie here, and the wood-fired dough was perfection in both texture and flavor. Service by multiple people was spot-on, and the prices were reasonable as well. Looking forward to going back and trying more flavors.

Great restaurant. Best service we have had in nyc. They were very accommodating of my vegetarian diet, and the sommelier, manager, and multiple waiters checked in on us while we were eating. The multi-course Bilt menu was fantastic and we enjoyed the wine pairings. Can’t wait to come back!

We happened into this restaurant for lunch and am I so happy that we did. The food was incredible, the service team was top tier and the Chef is masterful, to say the least. I look forward to returning on our next visit to NYC! Thanks again for creating such impactful memories through culinary excellence as well as service standards that go above and beyond. Kudos especially to Chef Stefan for being so engaging and a genuinely kind human being. p.s. the cleanest grill hood in all of NYC; tells you everything you need to know. SPOTLESSLY clean kitchen.

GENUINELY one of my favorite places to eat in the city. I’ve been a few times now, and even visited their sister restaurant Charlie Bird — a spot I also highly recommend, but something about PJs is just special. It was a random choice to grab dinner here but we really enjoyed it! Loved our burrata — great way to serve with asparagus and hazelnuts. Pizza had great crust and quality. Fantastic wines! Service was somewhat sub par but it didn’t ruin the experience
