Avoid at all cost. Worst food ever. Pasta was undercooked. The pizza was cold. We finished a bottle of wine before our food came out. The leeks were overcooked. Just unbearable. Then the manager actually brought the check with all the items even though we went the items back.

1. The Food
Your assertion that we “finished” certain dishes as evidence of quality is misleading. The footage you referenced will clearly show that we consumed the leeks only because we had been waiting an unreasonable amount of time for the rest of our food and were extremely hungry. We called our server over multiple times to ask where our food was. This was not enjoyment — it was necessity.
You notably failed to address the pasta, which arrived very late in the meal and was clearly undercooked. Despite the delay, the footage will show that we had already finished our wine and other items and were still waiting for food. When the pasta finally arrived, we took two bites, immediately informed the server, and asked that it be sent back. Despite this, we were still charged for it. Charging guests for food that was rejected due to poor quality is unacceptable.
We paid the bill quickly and left due to the poor experience, only later realizing we had been charged for a dish we rejected. Charging a guest for food that was returned due to quality issues is unacceptable.
Regarding the pizza, you claim it was “rested for eight minutes.” I strongly encourage you to release that footage, as we began eating the pizza immediately upon arrival because we were starving after the extended wait. We finished it quickly and were then forced to wait yet again for the pasta.
Needless to say, we walked one block down to eat at another establishment because of this terrible experience, which left us hungry and angry.
2. The Service
Your statement that we asked the staff to delay bringing our food is categorically false. The footage will show us repeatedly watching for servers and attempting to get our server’s attention. At no point did we ask for food to be delayed. We also declined ordering another expensive bottle of wine because we had already been waiting far too long for food that, when it arrived, was subpar.
If you are confident in your version of events, I encourage you to release the entire, unedited dining experience, not selectively referenced clips. I would welcome that transparency and would be more than willing to share it publicly or with media to allow others to judge for themselves.
Your response was dismissive, defensive, and inaccurate. Rather than acknowledging legitimate issues, you chose to misrepresent the experience and shift blame onto your guests and attempt to rewrite what happened. That choice speaks volumes about the standards of your establishment. I hope future customers do not waste their time here…

My husband and I came here on a whim on a cold, rainy Saturday night and it ended up being one of the highlights of our weekend. We were seated at the chef's counter and had the most wonderful conversation with Brandon, the head chef. The food, which we watched being made right in front of us, tasted even better than it looked. And our server did a fantastic job taking care of us while giving us some privacy for our date.
I cannot wait to come back here and would highly recommend a visit if you're in the Little Italy area of NYC.
