We went there in the late afternoon and sat at the counter. There were 3 of us and we shared a bottle of wine and ordered 2 pizzas. The food was delicious as always. We paid the bill on the phone and were finishing the last of the wine when the hostess came up and told us that we only had 2 more minutes because she needed the space. The place was half empty - all the other seats at the bar were empty and there were more than 5 empty tables. VERY RUDE to rush us out for no reason...
Finally tried a pie here, and the wood-fired dough was perfection in both texture and flavor. Service by multiple people was spot-on, and the prices were reasonable as well. Looking forward to going back and trying more flavors.
Great restaurant. Best service we have had in nyc. They were very accommodating of my vegetarian diet, and the sommelier, manager, and multiple waiters checked in on us while we were eating. The multi-course Bilt menu was fantastic and we enjoyed the wine pairings. Can’t wait to come back!
