Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant has a nice cozy ambiance. However, food wise, unfortunately I was not as impressed. I felt that the pho beef broth lacked flavor compared to other viet places I’ve tried. The crab/shrimp noodle soup similarly lacked flavor- there were also small quantities of the seafood and the dish itself felt like it lacked effort and had an instant quality to it. Nonetheless I continue to wish this restaurant the best in its success.

We visited this restaurant recently and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. The food was overpriced, even by New York standards, and the service left a lot to be desired. When my meal arrived, the waiter asked if I’d like a small bowl of rice on the side. I specifically asked if there would be an additional charge, and she assured me there wouldn’t be. However, when the check came, I was charged for it.
After we paid in cash and left a tip, the man at the front of the restaurant stopped us before we could leave. He claimed our tip was insufficient and went so far as to block the door. My friend and I, both young women, felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. Thankfully, we managed to slip out, but it was a distressing experience.
The food itself was average, but the service and atmosphere were absolutely unacceptable. Judging by a review left 7 years ago, this isn’t the first time they tried keeping someone hostage so that they would pay more. There are countless excellent dining options in NYC where you’ll be treated with respect. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We ordered the pho and spring rolls. The pho was okay. Nothing to write home about and the spring rolls seemed to be prepackaged.
Service was good and quick.
I had high hopes but unfortunately the food is for the tourist’s palette.

Very mediocre food, very small portions. Curry chicken noodles had little chicken and little noodles and tasted off. Shrimp rice platter was decent but only had six pieces of shrimp and little rice. Waitress’ face changed when we said we didn’t want appetizers and drinks, guess they wanted us to order some and fill up on those. Service was kinda slow and badly paced with a bit of time to bring my order after my companion. Very slow to clear plates. After we paid we felt rushed to leave.

This spot makes a really good bun rieu! Not many places in NYC serve this noodle soup dish so I often trek all the way to Chinatown just to get it here ? The pork spring rolls and shrimp and sweet potato spring rolls are tasty too. I love that I leave this place with a full and satisfied belly every time. Great service as well. I recommend this spot to a lot of my friends!

I love it here. Absolutely delicious. The pork crispy rolls and the beef pho are incredibly flavorful and the prices are so affordable. Please support this clearly family run business and give them love. Their food is obviously made with so much love

I adore this place. I recently graduated but frequented this place often while I lived in the dorms. The special combination pho lives in my head rent free and is the best pho I’ve ever had (I am from the Bay Area where I have lots of quality pho, but this takes the crown easily). Their Vietnamese coffee—both iced and hot—is going to be my wife one day. The brisket banh mi is literally my soulmate and she always makes me feel better on a gloomy day. When my parents and best friend visited me in the city, I took them here. They would not shut up about how good the food was (they were also from the Bay Area). The staff recognize me throughout the years and already know my take out and dine in orders. They gave my parents beautiful words when they started crying dropping me off, and I know that these people are blessed. Furthermore, I often came here when I wanted a change of pace while studying. They have good wifi and always gave me my own table to study in as I ate and drank. Gorgeous people, delicious food, and unforgettable memories.
