The idea of a mom amd pop bakery in the village was cliche 30yeara ago . But with skyrocketing rents and fees immigrants cannot afford to open these shops. It's beautiful to see Roccos is around. I love all things pastry so won't grade items but mom makes amazing pignoli cookies. ROCCOS gives her a run for 1st

Great spot to sit for a few with a coffee, pastry, lunch…plenty of tables, a little covered backyard, and clean bathroom.

Used to come here all the time. It's clear the family that owns it no longer works here. Stood in a long line, ok nothing new there. But a woman comes in, pushes me out of the way to grab a loaf of bread, pushes in front of me on the line, then when I explain what happened to the couldn't care less and do nothing worker behind the counter person, I walked out. Also, you were out of any meaningful amount of marzipan and I'm disappointed you seemed to ditch the Casatina cake around the time of the pandemic. Used to be good, and the space is renovated nicer than ever, but a giant disappointment these days. And I was really hoping to take some Marzipan back home to my partner. Guess it's Veniero's from now on.

Loved the pastries and coffee (eclair, tiramisu, drip coffee, and cappuccino). Came all the way from Queensbridge for a late night sweet treat (10pm).

The lady working here is rude and unprofessional. We gave this place another try after a long time, but we’re really disappointed. The quality has gone down—it used to be nice.

Old review: Lovely place. Tasty pastries.good prices.

Any Italian growing up in New York knows that this place is the real deal. My gold standard for any Italian bakery is the cannoli, and they make some of the best in the city. They fill them fresh every time, and they are also gracious enough to sell me a small cup of just cannoli cream for gluten free. I always drop by when I'm in the area.

And for the 3rd time in a row (over the course of 2 weeks) I walk in at 10:15 am to find no customers— but more importantly NO STAFF. No one welcoming you, no one behind the counter, no waitstaff to be seen. I wait a few minutes and then leave. It’s incredible how a business in such a busy area would allow their counter to go un-attended for even a moment let alone so consistently. The pastry is pretty darn good (been coming here for years) but that just doesn’t matter anymore. As of lately the atmosphere and service has become so non-existent that it just isn’t worth it. Such a shame cause this place was a classic, beloved spot for so long and now it will most likely fall by the wayside. My suggestion would be to hire at least ONE person who knows what hospitality is and pay them triple salary and get rid of the people who if I do ever see are usually looking at their cell phones around some corner.
