Nothing like starting the day with a terrible brunch - extremely expensive, mediocre quality, portions are smaller than advertised. Do not waste your time here. Pastrami Queen is officially done.

I am homebound and live on the Upper Westside. I have visited Pastrami Queen numerous times on the Eastside at 85th & Lex and at 78th and Lex. I have ordered from their West 72nd Street location numerous times. Today, I called them up and told Leslie that I am sending my home attendant to pick up a hot pastrami on rye with coleslaw on the sandwich and 1 half sour pickle and 1 sour pickle. Total price including .75 for the extra pickle was $28.85. MY home attendant brings everything back to me. The pastrami was fantastic as usual, but they gave me 2 half-sour pickles even though my home attendant specified 1 half-sour pickle and 1 half sour pickle! This may seem petty to you, but I paid $28.85! I called them and Leslie could only say "I'm sorry, next time!" This was just like saying to me "FY!" Too bad their pastrami is so good. I have no other recourse. what can I do, take them to court for a pickle? Richard Klein, 85th Street, Upper Westside.
