Wasn't going to leave this review but I sadly felt like I had to. Came in on a Saturday about a month ago and got very very unpleasant and borderline racist undertones from the staff. I was told by coworker to come here and decided to go for a date night with my fiancé. For context, I am a mixed but visibly black woman. Everyone working there seemed wayyy too drunk or totally stoned for being on the job. At times they were snickering and talking amongst themselves in front of customers, specifically the bar staff. They seemed to be annoyed by any questions to the point where I no longer felt comfortable asking. If you're gonna be pretentious and rude, at least have the drinks be good enough to match the attitude. Deeply disappointed, huge waste of money don't come here

Nobody came to take our order after we were seated for a long time. Seemed like the staff was busy talking and maybe not enough people working. But for $20+ a cocktail it should be better service.

What a hidden gem! The cocktails at Patent Pending are truly spectacular. I especially loved the “Light Me Up” — a bourbon sour-style drink with a sweet peppercorn rim that was absolute perfection. The “Currents & Coils” was another standout — a tropical delight. Can’t wait to return!

This place was 10/10. From the moment we walked in the staff was so welcoming and gave recommendations on drinks when asked. We went with the “off to Italy” and it was one of the best drinks ive had. The bartenders were also very nice and talented. Deff coming back

good, vibrant and eclectic. As always amazing and innovative blends. Muir, Made from Memory, Impossible Idea all good. Advise to reserve a spot. Winter cocktails are unyieldingly good. Try a seat at The LAB., The Impossible, Dramatic effect are my recent favorites

Cocktails are bit on the pricier side but it's worth it for the atmosphere and service. Very unique and interesting menu. Beware - the bathroom was VERY dark!

Creative cocktail
Maybe like a speakeasy entrance saying it’s a coffee shop, but apparently not
A bit pricy
Good service, and you can start your drink in the waiting(standing) area

This will be the 1000th review!

If you go a little early (before 7pm) there’s no wait to get in. There’s a separate back bar around the corner that I didn’t know of, so quite a few people can be seated actually. Drinks live up to the reputation; all great blends of liquor in the way they should be, not a mix of syrup.

I visited this small, intimate speakeasy with my girlfriends after work, and it was such a treat. The innovative cocktails were truly impressive--on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it. I highly recommend this spot and can't wait to return to explore more of their creative drink menu!
