The cocktails were great!
Would definitely visit again! Everything about the bar was creative and according to the theme (Nikolas Tesla). All our drinks were amazing. The service was really good! They didn't rush us and were very patient. There was barely any line when we visited (on Saturday night), but we've seen long lines here before. The gratuity was included for a party of 3.
Loved this spot! It’s hidden behind a coffee shop and feels like a secret—dark, cozy, and perfect for date night. The drinks were super creative and seriously good. There’s a cool vibe with a nod to Nikola Tesla, who actually lived in the building. The bar was quite empty when we reached, but filled up pretty quickly. Definitely a must-go bar in the City!
Scam. Gave us tokens to next door and it can only be used for shots. The kicker is they only told us after the bill came out. It’s actually insane. Will never come back.
Great cocktails. Excellent service. Recommended.
Cocktails were expensive even for NYC but very good. This place is tiny and like a maze, there’s cozy seating in the back. We came late and it wasn’t busy but even though there was space, the host didn’t let the people behind us in. Left a bad aftertaste for us.
The bartender Brittany was so nice! Great service great drinks. Highly recommend.
Best bar of the night, menu is a little confusing, flip the page before it back over for the typed explanation. The bar in the back we liked even more.
We will def be back to this place, and I will be people from out of town to impress
Thanks PP
Atmosphere was good. Speakeasy it is not. Slip past a wall and there's a bar. Had two drinks. Cocktails were good but not for the price. Waitress meh. Wouldn't go back.
This is one of the few bars in NYC you take to impress someone. Patent Pending is an awesome speakeasy bar serving very creative cocktails in a dimly lit discreet setting behind a cafe. The experience is like no other bar in NYC where the service goes above and beyond and the drinks are carefully crafted for taste and visual appeal. Prices are higher than your usual speakeasy and a lot more than your casual bar but expect to pay for quality and the unique and memorable experience this bar delivers. During the holiday and summer season, expect wait times to be seated, as the bar is quite small so arrive a few minutes before opening time. I definitely recommend you visit if you're passionate about mixology or interested in immersing yourself in the fine NYC nightlife.

Small speakeasy bar with unique drinks. Visited on a weeknight and waited about 15 minutes before being seated. Recommend making a reservation if you have more than 3 in your party.
Best in town!! So good!
YOU HAVE TO TRY THE LOBSTER BAO BUNS!! Everything here is deeeeLECTABLE. Also loved the fried chicken sandwich and the AC/DC cocktail was so good.
Great drinks and an awesome atmosphere!!! The coffee shop looked close and we almost missed it but other than that the service was amazing and the drinks also. I love the menu concept giving us the history of the building.
Top-notch speakeasy with unique cocktails and a wide variety of options.
