Classic NY speakeasy, we had a great time! Cocktails are very well crafted. The bar is super-interesting, the place feels calm and intimate. Music selection was awesome! We had to wait 30-40 minutes in line to get in, but the guy at the door was very friendly and kept giving us updates (appreciated). Totally recommend it.

Finally made it here. I generally dont like standing on lines. We waited about 45 minutes or more. They do 90 minute settings. The staff was very friendly at the door and kept updating everyone on the wait. When it was our turn , they even moved us in to like a waiting area near the main bar to start looking at the menu and order. We sat down inside the black bar lounge area. The service was really good. We only had one drink each as their kitchen had just closed and we were hungry so left after one.. Our server was very kind and got us a bunch of bar nuts. The menu is a very cool design. I was told folks have been stealing it.The dirnks we ordered were good..didn't wow us. The vibe and atmosphere is definitely on point.Nobel Slight was good and little spirit forward. Into the realm was little too much of a taste of orange soda.I will come back again but won't wait on line

Beautiful dimly lit underground speakeasy. The place is a lot bigger than it first seems, with a nice alley like appearance. The Impossible Idea is one of the best takes on an old fashioned (it includes carmelized bananas) Quite pricey for a cocktail though - 33 dollars for a simple (but elegant twist) on a basic drink.

The kitchen was closed on a Sunday for some reason that wasn't explained or mentioned before being seated. The main reason for going was the surprise for my party of what I assumed would be the big reveal of the wall drawing back and "oh wow" moment but instead we just walked into a dark coffee shop with the wall pulled back already 80 percent and we just squeezed through the opening all commenting on the tight fit as the hostess who greeted us didn't push the opening at all or mention if we could... very laissez-faire

TLDR : DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY!I had the pleasure of visiting Patent Pending for the first time and was immediately captivated by its innovative concept. The unique approach and the delightful beverages, albeit slightly expensive, contributed to a memorable experience. However, it is with regret that I must share my disappointment following subsequent visits, culminating in my decision to not return. During my latest visit, and on previous occasions, the service extended by the host, Noemi, fell notably short of the establishment's otherwise commendable standards. Despite arriving with different guests on each visit, we were consistently met with unexpectedly prolonged wait times exceeding forty-five minutes, even as other patrons were seated ahead of us. Moreover, we were invariably assigned to less than desirable seating arrangements.I had eagerly anticipated introducing friends and colleagues to what I considered a remarkable venue. Unfortunately, these repeated incidents, which could not be overlooked as mere coincidences, have significantly marred my perception of the establishment. It is with a heavy heart that I find myself compelled to share my experiences, and advise against patronage, until such time as the service quality aligns with the high standards set by the establishment's concept and offerings.

atmosphere is awesome and the vibes are really great. however the queso dip is not something worth ordering. it's more like a cheese stick and not saucy as you would expect regular queso to be. really disappointed in the

Fabulous speakeasy with intriguing cocktails. This is a speakeasy so it’s yours to find out what’s to be liked.Mild warning though that waiting for Friday night or similar to such could take couple hrs easily and such wait line unfortunately somewhat defeats its nature as speakeasy. This is a well-known speakeasy. Speakeasy refers to a bar or liquor store that pursues the concept of a speakeasy during the Prohibition era. Since it is a speakeasy concept, there are many places that are difficult to recognize just by passing by, but there are quite a few people who prefer it because of the fun of being “known only to those in the know.” However, since it is a world that pops up when you search on Google Maps or something, it is really just a "conception" of a speakeasy, and places like this place that have already received a lot of word of mouth have a line that can easily last two hours on Fridays, so the concept itself of a speakeasy is not. Sometimes it becomes meaningless.Highly recommended for any weekday evening other than Friday. Cocktails are also amazing, fun, and delicious.

I was really excited to try this bar out, but never got the chance actually. we entered since there was no hostess and the bartenders sent us back to the entrance even though we were already inside and the bar was half empty, I guess all I can say the customer service is not really there.

Super cool place to hang out with friends. It’s New York City ‘tight’ but if you’re into that then it’s no problem. The music and staff were all amazing. Only gripe no coffee or baileys type drinks!
