Stopped by for the famous chocolate cake. It was pretty good - just right and not too sweet as other reviewers have said. The only downside is that they use plastic utensils and give you your cake in a cardboard box even if it's to eat in.
I tried their chocolate cake. It was a really good slice, chocolate cream was so shiny and soft, cake was so moisturized and not overly sweet. Frosting also was great not too sweet. It was a decent slice but not sure if it’s the best chocolate slice in NYC
(review is for collab matcha things only) We came for the Isakki Matcha collab and the matcha latte was good but the little croissant on top was kinda bland, not flaky or soft, just gave hotel breakfast vibes. The matcha croissant though was amazing as the cream had such a rich matcha flavor and it was flaky enough to still be really good. Haven’t tried their famous chocolate cake yet so would come back to try that
