The new bouncer is so horrible. I think there’s many more places to give your business to and to give it to happily. He’s rude and just generally a disgusting vibe to encounter. If they fire him, I’ll consider coming back, this wasn’t a problem with the previous bouncer.

Wish I would have read the reviews. They made us wait in line for 30 mins and then the girls that got in before us immediately came out and told us there was literally no one inside. And the club was trying to force the guys they let in to buy a 2000 table... NYC pretentiousness to a T

Troll looking horribly entitled bouncers who turned away 6 physicians post shift for no reason, until we finally got in and realized not only are these low life bouncers racist, but the drinks and bathroom are nasty, the vibe is mid, and place is usually empty…. By farrrr one of the worst places in New York! Go anywhere else for much better ambience and drinks! All the reviews are correct, this place is a literal burning fire of ugly garbage. Would rather spend $1000 on a table at the nearest dumpster than have to deal with the unintelligent scumbags at the door who will probably all die of cardiovascular disease
First off let me say that i am a slim thick black and asian woman, who is very attractive. I had no problem getting in. I walked up at midnight and got immediately let in. I was dressed really nice, and had myself together. The music and the atmosphere was beautiful. I had the time of my life in here, the music was amazing and I connected with so many people!
All of the reviews are just people who are realizing that in the real world looks matter. I wasn’t the only black person in there—- there were gay men, straight men, and other black women. We were all dressed REALLY nice. You can’t stroll up in sandals and casuals and think you’re going to just get in. I will be back in september!

Paul’s is quite literally the worst bar/club in the city. Johnson (the bouncer at the front) refused to let in my disabled girlfriend because she had a quote “lazy eye”. This was a disappointing experience and quite literally ruined my night and quite frankly life. He deserves to get fired and never work as a bouncer ever again.

if you want a pimply pale 20 something to ignore you,this is the place to go.. right, let’s go backwards to 90s, that’s real cool.. only reason we came down here was because my friend was djing at the roxy bar and a birthday gal wanted to dance downstairs.. skip the power trip drama and head to brooklyn for good music and a good dance.
