Highly over-rated tourist trap. I asked 3 times if the coffee is fresh and the cashier said 'yes' three times while looking annoyed i was asking. Then he proceeded to turn around and fill a coffee mug with coffee that was sitting in a thermos thing, clearly not fresh.
It tasted watery and was a cpmplete disappointment, especially after asking three times if it was fresh and he thinks coffee sitting around is fresh.
Starbucks is better tbh.

The baguettes and baguette sandwiches are indeed good, but the “regular” bread they use for other sandwiches is about the same quality as Subway. The coffee/espresso is obscene: burnt and bitter. The snotty, I-do-not-have-time-for-you attitude the staff give off is unnecessary for a perfectly ordinary café. A must miss.

Good place but lacking in normal service. For midtown location they probably need two baristas. It’s a fairly large place as well so I was surprised how many people were waiting for drinks. Maybe someone is on vacation or it’s winter time. Either way they need two baristas/workers behind the counter.

I was looking for something for breakfast, notice it was next to my hotel, figured I would try it out.

Foods good, but EXPENSIVE! I forgot how expensive things can be in Manhattan

Loved the vibe of the place, but I felt rushed to order. Went for the experience, food is amazing no doubt-prices are just too pricey for me. Think I’ll stick with local coffee shops back home.

I ordered americano and taste like watery and the coffee is cold. Will never come back.

The coffee was great, and they have affordable prices for the location. The only issue I had was observing how one of the employees treated some customers who were taking their time to order. It was very obvious that she was annoyed with them, which bothered me.

The place is nice and clean with nice atmosphere . The cofee is good However they may want to make there Cappuccino little hotter. It's low temperature.

It was a very cute place and food was good , the cashier is not very friendly, and had a bit of an attitude when asking for Clarification . They should say hello how are you when you walk in as it’s a cafe … like a greeting

I've been coming here for awhile and previously always had good experiences, but the last time I came here, I got a sandwich for lunch, and then later got a pastry and a drink when I settled in to get some work done. At 2pm, someone came around and asked me to move to the counter since people were coming to eat. I had previously eaten, so it's not like I didn't pay/didn't eat. And if I had known that I would need to sit at the counter (where the seats are too high and the backs are too low for it to be comfortable to work at), I would not have gotten the pastry and drink and instead chosen to work at a different coffee shop. Asking customers to move is pretty rude. Knowing that I could be moved at any time, I will not come back to work here (which is what I felt this cafe was best for).

Not the best cafe I've been to in terms of food and ambiance, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. Nothing bad about it. I got a Vanilla Iced Latte, which was too milky to enjoy. The plain croissant was good. Expensive but typical New York prices.
In terms of working, there is pretty much one outlet per table and reliable WiFi. My friends and I were here for a couple hours to work, and they didn't rush us out at any point which was great.
Wouldn't come back here though because of the mediocre food.

Great place for coffee and breakfast. While it doesn't look as buzzing and "instagramable" as nearby Maman, I would pick Pavé any day off the week. I had a cortado and a croissant, the latter being a barometer for whether a bakery knows their stuff. The croissant has a great taste, but like many American bakeries, they overdo the size. It had good flakiness, leaning a bit too much to crunchiness, but it was still a good croissant. They nailed the cortado, so even though it's not necessarily a coffee shop, I'd come back for it. The staff was super nice and seem to know exactly what they're doing. Definitely recommend Pavé!

This was an adorable cafe that I found while on the hunt for a cuppa coffee. So cute, staff was friendly and efficient. It was a nice place to sit for a few mins and enjoy coffee and a slice of banana bread. Def have to come back next time I’m in town.

Lots of people on laptops. A little difficult to find a table, but good food and great people working.
