What a find! When the hotel wants $25 each for breakfast we went in search of other options. We loved the old fashioned authentic nature of this diner. The food was great and compared to other eateries very reasonable. We thought the portions were perfect (seen another review saying they are small). Personally I would rather finish a dish and not feel hungry than leave food - I find US portions too big. What they call home fries are their fried potatoes and they are delicious. Tea and coffee kept coming. Really made out holiday!
Perfect place to feel the American spirit. Everything you see in the photo — nearly 22 bucks.

Awesome little Greasy spoon prefab diner. Great breakfast food at good prices. It could certainly use a good cleaning... but that's part of the diner charm. Unfortunately they think it's cool to add a 20 percent tip without any notice. Now id have tipped 20 percent or more anyways but I don't like the presumption. So this drops to 2 stars.

Great option if you are in downtown. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The omelette was very good and they offer the option of adding avocado which is pretty rare for a diner. We also order bacon, eggs and pancakes which were super fluffy :) would come back!

We ate here twice for breakfast! Julie, our waitress, was truly the best: attentive, kind, and loved her stories. We sat outside for that NY feel and it felt so nice. Breakfast was great. Eggs and bacon cooked perfectly, but that Belgian waffle…that was delicious. I don’t normally eat waffles because they are dry and tasteless. Not this one! It was crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and so tasty. Best one ever really! I’d come here again. I loved sitting outside before starting our day in NY. Julie is a charmer too!! Thank you, Julie!!

Walked in with my daughter to have lunch together as soon as we walked in the host told us to sit anywhere, the cooked a female lady gave us a dirty looked, a face that she didn’t want us there at all, she and the host male they gave each other the same look, so I walked out! I will never walking in here again felt discriminated.

We really enjoyed a traditional American diner experience. We went twice for breakfast and received a warm welcome from a waitress who introduced herself as the “old lady of the diner”. The food was good and very reasonably priced especially compared to other places in FiDi. If we’re ever back in NYC we will be back.
