Will forever miss the earl grey martini. Best of luck on your next endeavor!

I've frequented many a cocktail bar in NYC and hands down, this is my go-to! It's great for a date, meeting up with a friends, or a quick solo drink after work. It's just the right amount of pretentious, yet still accessible. Audrey Saunders' establishments truly don't disappoint. If you're new to cocktails, then you can't go wrong with the gin gin mule, a contemporary classic that Saunders' is credited with creating. Great menu. Award wining drinks. Ideal ambience. Unbeatable happy hour. Knowledgeable staff. I can't wait for the day I can dine in again here! Cheers

Just heard this place was closing-another NYC nightlife icon is lost & it is painful. We want the owner & staff to know how much you will be missed. Can't believe it's been 15 years! You had the best space, best staff, best vibe and best drinks (& orchids)....we celebrated so many milestones and happy times there (navigating the stairs at closing tho...) When all these sad times are behind us--who knows when--perhaps you will be able to recreate the magic in a new space. In the meantime, hopefully you are reading all the reactions to your closure & realize how much you were loved & how unique you were (despite inferior copycats). Best wishes to all of you in the future and thanks for sharing your talents with us.

Came here with a friend who knows the bartender. Delicious cocktails in a low key environment. No wait on a Friday night but can imagine this place getting real busy.

Cocktail before a Sunday family style dinner. Good ambience and space for groups. Quick stop but the Earl Grey Infused Gin Martini was made well with simplicity.

Great one of the original cocktails bars after the resurgence

My favorite bar since 2012. Raul is the best mixologist! He even mixes you time intensive cocktails like my favorite Ramos gin fizz

I like its long and narrow lounge with old fashion and also trendy vibe. Even though mixed with nutmegs, I have to say I enjoyed this Tom & Jerry drink a lot.

Great for small intimate gatherings. Whether for food and drinks or just drinks. Great drink menu.

Old fashioned but good. Very packed and a bit noisy. Definitely not speak easy.

I've been here a few times and it never disappoints. It's a bit hidden but once you walk in, you know you're in the right spot. It can get crowded, so be prepared to wait especially during peak times. The drinks are stellar though, and that's what you come here for, so definitely worth a visit!

The Pegu Club is a very classy, high end cocktail bar. This place is filled with elegant chairs and beautiful lounge couches which make it feel high class, and yet very relaxing. The overall atmosphere is quieter than other cocktail bars which makes it a nice place to have great drinks and conversation. The drinks are top notch! I didn't get to try any food so I cannot comment on that. Though the entrance isn't exactly hidden, it is incredibly hard to find. The door looks like it leads to some abandoned store, but as you walk past, you'll notice the Pegu logo. Eventually you go up the stairs and you'll be amazed by how beautiful the interior is! They definitely have some areas that can accommodate larger parties of 6-8. However, there is more seating for 2-4 people.

Cute cocktail bar. Was nice and cozy on a chilly winter night. Great service.

They’ve been around since 2005 so they have to be doing something right. Founded by cocktail pioneer Audrey saunders, pegu club’s still got it in 2020. Well balanced drinks at an affordable price, particularly if you go for the 5-7pm happy hour which offers many of their classics eg little Italy at a discount. Large space, dark environment, below average price, great cocktails, well worth checking out
