We wanted a lot of duck and we got it. A whole duck was sliced (not shredded) for the three of us and we scoffed it no problem. Delicious thick pieces of duck with crispy skin. Yes we made pancakes but really we just wanted another whole duck. Good value and good service. The boys on the next table had a bottle of wine and a bottle of whiskey with their duck. Admirable but less time handling duck if you have to handle bottles as well. Highly recommended.

It's my go to for Peking duck. Get yourself 4 or 5 friends and roll over and get a duck and embrace the decadence. It's noisy, it's greasy, it's loaded with msg, and the duck is delicious, and the restaurant a fun experience. We order Just the duck ala carte and maybe some dumplings to start but the all inclusive meal is just way too much food, and we've found not worth twice the price. Love this place, though. It's a classic.

Service is horrible. Food was good thought. Ducks on point. If you have dietary restrictions, I'd choose somewhere else.

Its has it all! Do not be scared off by crowds or lines. Put your name in, go grab a drink, and or a bottle of wine for dinner and come back. Well worth the wait and the staff take very good care of their customers! As always, the kitchen does not not disappoint.

Came here just for duck and it was OK. Slightly above average if that but overall nothing crazy Extremely small dining but that's normal. They do a table side duck carving which is fancy. The duck itself was moist and slightly crispy skin a great amount of fat to meat ratio. What I disliked is that they had SO much meat left on the carcass but they stopped once the plate is full of meat. In Houston they usually make a soup or stir fry the leftovers but after eating we figured it wasn't coming. I ended did asking if I could have the carcass which I'm glad they gave me cause I paid for a whole duck. I would like to eat the whole duck. LOL. Apparently they don't cause a choking issue in the past? But safe to say I destroyed that Carcass

Went here yesterday with my wife and daughter for a late lunch. We're locals, not tourists, and not first timers for Peking Duck. Ordered a whole duck ($79), Kung Pao shrimp ($30), and their house made noodles with beef ($18). They have a station in the dining room for carving the duck. A guy in a chef's outfit comes out and carves it, which is a nice feature. The duck was just OK. The skin was crisp, but the flavor was a bit off. In my mind, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole duck took a quick trip through the deep fryer, because there was a note of old fryer oil. The slices of duck, mostly skin, most with a layer of fat, and some meat attached, were chewy and not tender, which means it wasn't cooked properly. The duck is served with hoisin sauce, julienned cucumber, and 4" pieces of scallion. Some of the cucumber pieces were waterlogged, which often happens when it freezes in a too cold part of the refrigerator. These could have easily been picked out from the rest. It's these details which indicate the quality of the kitchen. I would say the cucumber pieces weren't even from that day. The scallions did not have the roots properly trimmed off, and some edges of the root end were brown. More sloppiness. They have Kung Pao squid on the menu, so we ordered Kung Pao shrimp. What we received was shrimp in a sugary sauce with red chili pepper, which I find out later is their version of Peking style shrimp also known as shrimp in chili sauce. It was good, just not what we ordered. I would have pounded that out to the waiter if he ever came to check on us after serving the food. When I pointed out to the (seemingly Chinese) waiter at the end of the meal that this was not Kung Pao, he said yes it was. I asked him if he ate Kung Pao, and he said yes. I said, Kung Pao in sugary sauce? He said yes. Then he explains, the ordering button on the computer says Kung Pao shrimp, but in English it prints on the ticket, Peking style shrimp. This is just more sloppy nonsense. The waiter seemed inexperienced in general. The house made noodles with beef were cooked in the wok with some Wok Hei technique present, which was good, but the sauce was bland. Overall, this restaurant is phoning it in, and just going through the paces, catering to the transient tourist crowd.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The food here is not only comforting but also incredibly delicious, and what's even better is that the prices are very reasonable. Our group of five decided to go for the $51 menu, which turned out to be an excellent choice. It included a choice of soup for the table, three appetizers, a whole Peking duck carved right at our table, three main courses, rice, and a delightful small dessert to finish off the meal. It was truly a feast, and every single dish was bursting with flavor.Despite the noise and the occasional challenge of securing a reservation on busy days with large groups, the overall experience was impeccable. BRING YOUR OWN WINE! Ever does it, it’s the way how it works.Overall, it was an outstanding dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone in search of delicious Chinese cuisine at a great value.

It's a little pricey, but a great splurge. I've been there twice and was pleased both times. The Peking Duck is about $80, but enough for two people, and is definitely worth trying.
