I love to make jokes about buying sushi in Penn Station. But the truth is that this spot is reliably fresh and delicious. Perfect meal for the train and vegan/vegetarian-friendly. Five stars based on comparable options.
Pen Sushi's shrimp tempura sushi is a highlight, combining the crispiness of perfectly fried shrimp with the freshness of their sushi. It is a must-try .Plus, the staff is courteous and attentive, making sure your order is correct and well-packaged for takeaway. It’s worth to stop by for lunch.
Great quality sushi for a reasonable price. The portions are big and the fish to rice to vegetable ratio is also very reasonable. They put large chunks of fish in their sushi and it also doesn’t taste funky or bad. The rice may be a bit dense but understandable because it was in the fridge. 10.99 for a salmon roll packed with large amounts of seafood is a great deal.
