I've been here several times and always enjoy it. Really good pasta dishes and tasty desserts. Lots of seating available indoors and outdoors. It does tend to get busy in the evening though.

Ate here yesterday and went to use the restroom. The door stuck for a second but then unexpectedly slammed shut on my finger. Told the staff and asked for ice. They knew the door was problematic. They said the manager would call me within 24 hours but I have not received a call. I went to urgent care and it turned out that my finger is fractured. They need to fix the door or at least put up a warning sign. Spending the rest of my vacation in pain with a splint on my hand.

Very friendly service and food at great prices!
They have gluten free penne pasta. The waiter was so wonderful and they had flourless chocolate cake which was amazing. 10/10 would eat here again.

The food was delicious. I loved the bread accompanied by olive oil and herbs. The prices were very good, and the place is super nice to enjoy the meal in good company. The portions were generous, and the staff was very friendly and courteous.

It's hard to believe how much Pepe Rosso's has grown. Pre-COVID, we frequented the To-Go location which was just about a literal hole-in-the-wall with just enough seating. Anything & everything on the menu has always been fantastic.
After [our] transition to the larger location just across the corner, I still can't say enough good things about Pepe Rosso's. This is one of our top spots to bring friends & family who are looking for an authentic NY experience. Great food, great atmosphere, excellent service, but it's not plagued by tourists (although they do deserve the popularity).
If you're in NYC, it's the worth the detour to grab a bite.
I particularly enjoy their vodka sauces, park/sausage, & any dish with mushroom. So that's my GENERAL recommendation. Give it a shot!

When I lived in the West Village, I often came here for fried calamari, fresh salad, fresh pasta, and tasty wine. Whenever I came back to town after moving to Japan, I ordered the same things. I was always surprised that nothing had changed, even though the restaurant had relocated.

Was like being in a Florence cafe again when I had lunch yesterday. Started with a cold Peroni draft, orechiette pasta special with sausage & broccoli in an oil & garlic sauce and finished with homemade affogato dessert. $41 total. Best Italian for the price in NYC in a small family owned place.

Wowwwww this place was amazing!!! I loved everything about it. It truly felt authentic. It was a mom and pops shop and you can tell they care about the food and put so much love into it. It was so delicious . I am recommending this place to everyone. The waiter was also really good and knowledgeable . Had the burrata , onion focaccia, and eggplant parm with spaghetti with pink sauce . My boyfriend had the chicken parm, which the chicken on his plate was at least 90% of the plate. Huge portions too! Will def be back
