The coffee is very good. I don’t think I’ll go again though. I normally go to this cafe to read my book on weekend morning to relax. And there is this guy, the barista’s friend(?) who comes in and talks very loud and also talks about politics. It’s like he has no awareness that it’s a cafe and other people are trying to enjoy coffee in a quiet place. He would talk at least 1-2hours. Just very annoying. The barista doesn’t do anything but talks very loud back to him....
I've had to come here to work since my son had half days this week and I needed to be nearby. The space is clean, there is ambient music which may be an issue if you need to make a call, but its not too loud. I had to take a call with a client while Geenie in a Bottle played in the background, which made me anxious but it was fine. Snacks and coffee are great.
This Is an easy Going And friendly And Quiet café w fast free WiFi. It’s on 97th and 96th on 2nd avenue. They also have a bathroom, which is really nice to have in New York City. There’s also charging stations and tables and chairs. It might be small, but it definitely works. You can enjoy doing your work while having coffee or tea and some bakery stuff. The male staff who worked on Sunday Mother’s Day 5/12/24 was very nice and down to earth. People like him are hard to...
