I ranked this high because the Waldorf salad, which is basically just chicken salad with shredded lettuce on top was absolutely delicious!

Very nice restaurant in a great location. So convenient if being close to Grand Central is important for you. We had lunch here. I had the Cobb salad which was very good. The service was EXCELLENT. Very attentive and friendly wait staff.

We had a great brunch this Saturday. Fast service! Amazingly delicious pancakes and waffles with lots of fresh berries. Crappy bacon ! So perfect coffee!

We love Pershing Square! The ambience is fabulous! Elvis made us feel special and the food was very good. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I've been coming to this place for many years. The food is not outstanding, but it's very good. It's a very noisy crowded place no matter what time you go. The location is wonderful. But the reason for not giving higher stars is that the woman at the front desk has to be one of the most unsmiling, I wouldn't say unpleasant, but gives off such a Steer vibration that it's offputting. My friend and I were sitting for a long time talking, and the time came that was time for us to leave the table. But the way it happened was really stupid, frankly. The manager, I assume bounded up to our table and kind of shouted with a smirk on his face. Hey guys it's time to go your times up. And that was it now I've lived in New York for 45 years and I think I know the New York attitude and how people are in sense of humor, and regardless of how we meant it- iwas really offputting and when I commented on it. He didn't let up at all. This makes me not want to go back.

Honestly, I felt for location, reservation request, and price that service show of been top tier. I wasn't impressed with the wait staff and the hostess could have been friendlier. I had to ask 3 times for water with lemon, food came out and had to ask for mayo/ketchup at least twice then I wasn't drinking beer but it was added to my bill. The wait staff is not attentive. Actually, my daughter made the observation that once I said just water and no alcohol that the waitress was uninterested by how she behaved afterwards. She didn't even apologize for the mistake on my receipt but someone else said they made the mistake.

Went for breakfast for a work meeting, very cute restaurant in a great location across from grand central. Our waiter was very good, but alittle slow on service, however another staff member that brought out the food was alittle less than happy when we asked for 2 plates to share the fruit bowl. Would still go back and would recommend, just will not ask for 2 plates.

Unusual settling under Grand Central flyiver but interesting, good ambiance. Good food, good service, but have to get used to New York prices.

Terrible tea: served in a pot without a lid, it went cold in no time. Bad quality T bag too. Why economise with lousy tea in such an expensive place? Service friendly, but said the manager doesn’t listen to feedback.

The service was normal but they added a 20% tip without asking, which seems very abusive to me.

I came in and was seated immediately. The server was very attentive. He seem to always know when I needed something. I ordered a lemonade but it was extremely sour. No amount of sugar made a difference. He changed the drink with no issues. I order a cheeseburger. When it arrived it didn't seem to be the average burger that you would get from Manhattan dining. It was plain. Usually a burger comes with a pickel and coldslaw. This meal came with a quater of a sliced pickle and no coldslaw.. The fries tasted old and cold and only the meat was hot despite the bun was toasted. I didn't quite enjoy the food but the service was great. I'm sure the price will not be worth it. I haven't received it yet. Stuck on the disappointment I feel for the food.
