A regular haunt for when we are in New York. The Breakfasts are great and the food and service never let us down. A great central location too and a chance to have a look around the fantastic Grand Central Station.

Good location but noisy room. Good adequate but nothing special. Somewhat overpriced for food quality.

We brought out of towners from California, who bragged about being Cobb Salad aficionados. Well, your Cobb salad got very high marks for presentations and taste. Servers were all around efficient and pleasant. It's a charming ambiance at night, all the warm wood and candle flickering. We tried lots of different dishes and everyone hit the mark, especially the Maine lobster roll and the Nicoise platter, a nice twist on a Nicoise salad. The Californian's said they'd be back and we will return for dinner too. I'm used to Pershing Square for weekday business breakfasts and lunches.

Great staff, food and service, everything went smoothly. The food came out quickly, the staff friendly and they had children options

We arrived as it was due to open at 7am. There are two doors and the lady who came down to open them could clearly see us standing at one set of doors but for some reason decided to go to the other set of doors to open them first which felt very rude and in polite. I asked for some Tabasco sauce. The guy walked away and never returned. I asked another staff member for some Tabasco who promptly returned with a different brand of hot sauce showing just how slack the service is here. The corned beef hash that we ordered was greasy and hard to chew and the eggs were not cooked as requested. They also forgot extra items that we ordered. Just a complete shambles all round.

The ambience was perfect, timeless class and sophistication. Excellent service with good attention to detail and attentive and welcoming. A classic NYC experience.

It was a typical business lunch. I have enjoyed the space for years. The vibe is upbeat and service is attentive but non-intrusive. This is a wonderful urban oasis off a thriving street across from Grand Central Terminal.

Great location if coming from Grand Central Station. Big facility with very nice decor. Menu had reasonable selection. Between 4 people, only 2 different dishes were ordered, and everyone was satisfied with what they had.

I got the signature dish, chicken pot pie, and it was mediocre and watery. Service was slow and inefficient. Never delivered dessert menu we requested so we gave up and just asked for the check

I do love this place. The people here are the best. Very attentive & pleasant. But I have one negative. They tell you about their chicken pot pie with special placards on the table. I ordered it. Could have use more seasoning but I took the leftover home. This morning I wanted to reheat it. The crust was EXTREMELY thick & not cooked underneath. While I had alittle more than half left, there were ONLY 2 pieces of chicken. Talk about disappointment considering I really enjoyed my late birthday celebration lunch at Pershing. But I would return.

I have had better lobster rolls but my husband and grandson loved their meals. I was very glad to see that mozzarella (not burrata) and tomato was back on a menu. I hadn't seen that dish in way too long. Service was lovely. And they had Sancerre by the glass. I'll be back. Dianne Ackerman

Mixed experience.
A big thank you to the waiter who took care of our table. He was as warm as could be and gave excellent advice. But before he helped us, his two female colleagues simply ignored us. It’s not very pleasant to see them deliberately avoid eye contact and the calls from my family, just one meter from our table.
The kind gentleman served us and even got scolded by one of the women, which I didn’t really understand, given that he was the only one running around and actually taking care of us. 😅

The young waiter guy was so rude, when I asked a non-alcoholic drink, he offered me Mojito and I wanted to confirm that and said there is no alcohol right? He said that’s what mocktail is! Oh really you genius! I’m sorry but I’m allergic to alcohol. Later GG introduced herself and was the one who took care of us. She seemed much more capable of talking. I didn’t like the atmosphere, except GG everybody looked unfriendly.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
My family and I were visitors from Montreal, Canada - and to be honest, I don't remember ever receiving this level of excellent service at a restaurant back home! The service was so amazing on our first night that we decided to come back the very next day. The team at Pershing Square was incredibly welcoming, attentive and professional. A huge thank you to ISABELLE, LITZY, CAYA, SEAN, AND JONATHAN for making our experience so memorable.
