Nice bar, went for a drink as I'm a Newcastle united fan and was told it's the official Newcastle bar in new York, photos and pictures of memorabilia around the pub, just a shame I didn't catch a match while in NYC, a must for all Newcastle united fans.
I was looking for somewhere to watch Newcastle United on Boxing Day. I found the official supporters bar for NYC at Peter Dillon's. It was a quick train ride from my hotel and only a few blocks walk from the station. I arrived about 45 minutes from kick off and easily found a high top seat near the bar. By the time the match started the place was packed. Amazing atmosphere. I met a local who ended up sitting with me for the match. They had a special on 3 or 4 different pints....
An impressive pub that has loads to admire in the decor and has a beautiful and historic vibe. Unfortunately the staff weren’t the friendliest on the evening I visited but there’s plenty of seating and TV screens throughout. For a more unique setting I’d recommend.
