can’t go wrong stopping by a nyc classic.
Good spot, nice sitting outside and getting a beer. Crowd can be a little too touristy but it’s still a fun place
Walking up 18th St towards Union Square found this awesome place, Pete’s Tavern. One of the coolest places I have ever just walked up on in NYC. The food was good and so was the service. We ate inside in one of the cozy booths but they also have outdoor seating.
Good times usually, but we left our card by accident and a $60 tip was charged on the card for a $40 bill.
Lovely atmosphere and great place to relax and enjoy the festive decorations with a nice cocktail.
10/10 would not go again. Bar itself is fine but was quite literally double charged and when I brought it up to the server instead of admitting it, we were challenged and gaslight about it and the server wanted to bring the manager over to resolve it. 4 people, 3 drinks each...500$ bill

Pete's Tavern, a historic landmark in Gramercy, has an undeniable charm and ambiance that transports you to a bygone era. The wood-paneled walls, vintage decor, and warm lighting create an inviting atmosphere that speaks to its storied past. However, while the setting feels special, the food itself left us underwhelmed.
We ordered the Gramercy Burger and fish and chips, both classic pub choices. Unfortunately, neither dish was served hot, and the flavors were somewhat underwhelming.
Pete’s Tavern is worth a visit for its ambiance and history alone, but if you're looking for a standout meal, it might be best to keep expectations moderate.
Great! This is how you imagine a Christmas bar in NY.
On the verge of kitsch... and something full... but great. Had a good meal!!!

Went on a slow night. Service, food, and drinks were all solid. Recommend the burgers, house ale, ...
On a busy night, best to avoid.

Place was packed as we went shortly after NYC marathon ended . Ended up sitting outside. was frigging cold . The pizza was very good . Pleasantly surprised. The Mac and cheese was VERY VERY GOOD also . Service was really good . They got an A+ team for being as busy as they where the service never lagged . Really good local spot.

Didn't eat here but the menu looks amazing, and the food for other customers looked great!
We only stopped by for a drink or two, accidentally stumbling across it, it's a beautiful oldie worldie pub just outside of the manic city center and very walkable.
Old dark wood, staff were incredible and attentive even for just drinks, very smart in appearance and the general atmosphere is lovely and calm.
Wish I'd have come here more than once more so to check out the restaurant out the back, it's such a beautiful bar and would recommend anyone close by visiting.
Great experience.
Take care.

Noisy and crowded in the bar, but if you can get a table it's great. Awesome service, delicious food. Don't sleep on the steaks!
