I’m organizing a party for a client of mine — a very special birthday. But he wanted to choose the caviar himself. Beforehand, I thought it best to call and I spoke with Ines who couldn’t have been more delightful, helpful and knowledgeable. I feel completely comfortable sending my client down to the shop to speak with her and decide on the caviar for the event.

Huge disappointment! Waste of money! Baba au rhum: cakes are hard and tooo sweet. Strawberry jam: tastes like a medicine and too sweet. Tzar cut just regular nothing special and cured duck meat is too salty. I honestly can buy ShopRite jam and lox from a different company and have a better taste and spend much much less money.

We had vodka and caviar with French toast. Grey Goose I think was flavored. I’m fine with the regular unflavored vodkas so for those prefer plain, be mindful to what you’re ordering. Caviar was yum. But it’s petrossian so better be!

This is a very upscale cafe and specialty food shop that sits in an amazing building ….Peteossian itself is interesting but the building is stunning - see photos!

Their Caviar is absolutely the best you can find, the staff is friendly and informative and will guide you either you’re a connaisseur or newbie.

I've been visiting Petrossian in person in New York since the 80s. Their variety of caviar was amazing and I love their delicious chocolate and fruit paste squares. Their website is a mess, don't try online ordering.
Exceptional menu, especially the Mahi Mahi fish, one of the best i've ever tasted. Nice surrounding and lovely service. I will definitely revisit the place!!!Keep up the good work.
