Tzar cut just regular nothing special and cured duck meat is too salty. I honestly can buy ShopRite jam and lox from a different company and have a better taste and spend much much less money.

If you want caviar or smoked salmon Petrossian is certainly the place to go. It may be expensive but the quality is stellar and the service is excellent. So glad that they moved downtown.

This is an amazing addition to the West Village and Meatpacking. Petrossian is the top choice for caviar, but I had recently gotten its Lox and it's extraordinary. Very helpful and pleasant staff as well add to the elegant experience of a visit to this new boutique.

Caveat: this review is based solely for orders made through the Petrossian website. I have yet to check experiencing the boutique in person off my to do list. Over the years I have only ever enjoyed the highest quality of gourmet products from Petrossian and received great praise for every item gifted to others. Every single last bite has been superb, with the items that arrived being perfectly packaged and in great condition. It has been a bit disappointing to consistently have items I have bookmarked to try remain out of stock. Though we have to be understanding of supply issues as we continue to make our way through the pandemic, particularly for items which require import. That shared, it is quite disappointing to have an item missing from an order, especially when the order is curated for the board I have pictured. Unexpected stocking issues happen and are reasonable; we adjust and move on. Though it added to the already tarnished view I was developing when there was no refund processed to my card for the missing item or email notifying me that I would not receive part of the order. I noted developing tarnish since, when ordering items at this price point, I think it is beyond reasonable to expect responsive customer service. It is understandable that phone customer service may be delayed and unavailable depending on staffing when you call. It is not understandable to have two voicemails left weeks apart go unanswered (including simply looking up the order number left on the voicemail and emailing the customer if phone service is not available) or to have to send three emails before receiving a response. At this point, I will certainly consider ordering again for myself, though I may hesitate if curating a gift delivery for someone with particular tastes. With one more nod to being understanding of the issues many businesses are still working to overcome, what Petrossian is meant to be is in the name: a boutique experience. That comes with the expectation of excellence in all executed areas. Here's to Petrossian's success in fine tuning the areas in need of improvement and maintaining the excellence of their products.

We had vodka and caviar with French toast. Grey Goose I think was flavored. I’m fine with the regular unflavored vodkas so for those prefer plain, be mindful to what you’re ordering. Caviar was yum. But it’s petrossian so better be!

One of the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever had! Do yourself a favor and grab a cookie and go to the park, find a bench and enjoy a little piece of heaven!!
Their Caviar is absolutely the best you can find, the staff is friendly and informative and will guide you either you’re a connaisseur or newbie.

I've been visiting Petrossian in person in New York since the 80s. Their variety of caviar was amazing and I love their delicious chocolate and fruit paste squares. Their website is a mess, don't try online ordering.

I am impressed, Petrossian Boutique & Cafe was definitely cool. Love this place. After looking at the reviews I chose Cobb Salad, and it was so terrific, it is now my favorite dish. The staff was extremely friendly and service is great. Petrossian Boutique & Cafe...What a fantastic find.
