I stopped into Pho Avenue in Midtown East a place that delivers every time. It’s small, low-key, but it has the kind of neighborhood feel that makes you want to duck in any chance you get!

The staff was quick and friendly, and my bowl of beef pho came out steaming hot in just a few minutes. The portion was generous, and they don’t skimp on noodles or herbs. That said, the broth leaned more on the mild side, clean, light and delicious!

If you’re in Turtle Bay or Midtown East and craving something warm and comforting, Pho Avenue hits the spot without the wait or hype of bigger restaurants.

Nice pho! Popular in the neighborhood and might have to wait during peak hours.

i got this for lunch (affordable btw, $11 and decently sized) but was dissatisfied. the bread was kinda hard and i don’t think there was mayo or any moisture in this sandwich which made it dry and hard to eat. by the time i got to the half ends the bread was so crunchy and tough. maybe their pho and other items are better but definitely not this chicken banh mi

Nice restaurant! Good food. I loved how fast everything came out. I ordered the pork spring rolls and flank pho. Literally only reason for the 4 stars and not 5, it's because my appetizer and entree came out at the same time. I just like to enjoy them separately.

I needed some lunch…late in the afternoon and was wandering after too many hours at the office. Classic pho, delicious, had the catfish. And I swear that I’ve sat in the same furniture at the Pho whatever # it was on 3rd Ave and 39th for a couple of years.

I came around 1pm on a Thursday and it was rather busy, but I didn’t have to wait too long for a seat, maybe 5-10 minutes.
Since moving to NYC, I have been searching for a good beef ball pho spot and this has just made it to the top of my list. I loved it! Everything was fresh, came out hot and quickly. I also enjoyed this with a vietnamese iced coffee, which was prepared well. Other than it being noisy for a lunch hour, the place was clean and well lit. I enjoyed my solo dining experience and will absolutely come back again, especially in the winter time when I crave a warm bowl of pho. My only request is for them to add the beef ball pho to their Uber menu as I would love to enjoy it in the comfort of my home.

Hole-in-the-wall joint, but the grilled pork pho was divine. Highly recommend.

Incredibly disappointing chicken pho and flank/brisket pho, though I hesitate to call it pho at all. The broth in both was so bland that it might as well have been water. I am genuinely confused by people that have enjoyed food here- Maybe they ordered the tacos.

I have came to this pho place multiple times already. The place serves absolutely amazing tasty pho with different toppings you can choose to add and other good Vietnamese dishes. Also the environment is clean. Overall good place to get pho. šŸ‘

I had the chicken vermicelli. The meat was cold and dry. The duck spring rolls were not good. My husband got the flank/brisket pho, but the meat was too thick to cook with the broth.

Nice, bright spot on 2nd Avenue. Pho is very good - good portion of very tender beef, good broth. Vietnamese iced coffee was delicious! Great place to getaway during lunch hour if you work in the area.

Anne Hathaway did not spit in my food.

Wasn't planning to stop by this hidden gem, but frankly, I had to use the restroom after working for a couple of hours near the UN. I'm glad I did, because despite all my trips to Elmhurst, Queens in my youth, I didn't learn until today that fried catfish pho exists. It makes such a wonderful soup that is light yet filling, w/ meat that maintains its crispiness throughout the meal! A twenty dollar treat; a more upscale place could've charged so much more.
